I first discovered Angel about 12 years ago and have been wearing it ever since.

Angel is a French perfume by Thierry Mugler. It comes in a distinctive star shaped glass bottle. It can be bought in a variety of sizes, but I will concentrate on the 25ml bottle, which is about 5 inches in length (from point to point), about 3 inches at it's widest point and about 1.5 inches deep.

The top point of the bottle is covered with silver plastic and discreetly contains the pump, which you press to dispense a spray of the perfume.

You can buy Angel stars which are refillable. When they run out you buy one of the huge bottles of Angel and funnel it into the star. I've tried this though and find it to be a bit fiddly and I always end up spilling some of the perfume, so now I just stick to buying the pre-filled stars.

The perfume has a very distictive sweet smell and one which will definitely get you noticed. I would describe it as being a mix of chocolate and vanilla with a hint of spices. To me it smells expensive and luxurious.

When you first apply the perfume it can smell a bit strong, but I find it quickly sinks into the skin and becomes less obvious.
Personally I absolutely love the way Angel smells, but I do know people that hate it - so it has something of a marmite effect!

There are a whole raft of matching Angel products available, including body lotion, hand cream, bath crystals, shower gel - so you can douse yourself in the stuff in you really like it.

The 25ml bottle retails at around £35, but prices can vary and I've seen it on special offer occassionally, so if you shop around you might get a bargain.
