Thierry Mugler: Alien, Eau de Parfum

HOW DID I FIND ALIEN? I was immediately intruiged by the name. I am a girl who loves stories about "things from other worlds". The look of the bottle brings images of a sacred amythest, the link to the alien world & portal to another dimension. This is my first ever perfume review, mostly because I'd been unsure about the idea as it doesn't seem possible to me to review perfume, its such a personal thing. However, one smell of this out of this world scent and I was hooked and I feel this is the right scent to share my experiences of! The name of this perfume really attracted me to it, after trying out Angel another fragrance by Thierry Mugler I was dying to see if this one would be as good and most importantly smell as nice. I think I bought myself the gift set of this with a shower gel and moisturizer alongside the perfume. The colours, in this case a deep/dark purple are very eye catching and make the whole thing look elegant and class. In short it will look fabulous on/in any girls bathroom shelf or make up bag. I first encountered this perfume in a magazine where there was an advertisiment with a pull back, scented area of the page and I just really liked it as soon as I smelt it! There was also the other Thierry Mugler perfume, 'Angel', but I didn't like this one at all, I much prefer Alien! Possibly it is an acquired taste, but in can be bought in various quantities (I think 15ml, 30ml and 50ml) and so I would definitly recommend that people try it! Of course samples can usually be found in shops with perfume counters, such as Boots. I first heard about Alien 3.5 years ago when a colleague walked in after her lunch break smelling gorgeous! I asked her what she was wearing and she said a new perfume by Thierry Mugler, called Alien. Strange name I thought but smells nice! A few months later one of my friends asked for this perfume for her birthday from a couple of us, so I met Alien again! I then decided to treat myself to the perfume.
