Alien is a favourite of mine, I was first drawn to it because of the unusual amethyst bottle... purple is my favourite colour.. I was so delighted then to find it contained a truly amazing perfume, the smell is unique.. sensual, exotic and full bodied but also delicate and not at all obtrusive. No matter what I am wearing I always feel a little better about myself when wearing this scent. I worked as a waitress throughout college and was not encouraged to wear strong smelling fragrances, I myself detest the smell of the majority of body sprays/deodorants... especially when mixed with the smell of food, however when wearing Alien I was regularly complemented and asked what the scent was. It was also one of the few scents that didn't turn my stomach when I was pregnant! Alien is a little pricey but you only need a little bit to create a long lasting scent that never goes stale. My partner usually buys me a bottle at Christmas and it lasts for the year. I sometimes try out other perfumes but for the past few years I have always returned to Alien.
Having sampled many perfumes during the years, out of the Thierry Mugler perfume family this has to be possibly the most distinct and long lasting perfume of them all. Needing only 2-3 sprays in the morning, this perfume truly does last the entire day. It's not flowery, but its unique smell is quite often an aphrodisiac! Ladies have always recognised it in the shops when serving me at the counter, men have always complimented the way I smell on dates! Good for a night out with the ladies or definitely for a first date or even the 50th date. The price does seem a bit much when you go to buy it but usually it's approximately £40-£50. Definitely worth it when you went to leave an impression. make sure you are not buying the ear de toilette as its like a diet version of the original perfume!!
Ah, Alien. I have fond memories of this perfume- in fact, it was the first perfume I ever bought for myself, all the way back in 2005. Though I've branched out in my frangrances, Alien is still what I suppose you would call my 'Signature Scent', and more often than not, it's what you'll find me wearing. It should probably be noted in passing that if you don't like jasmine notes in your perfume, Alien may be a miss for you. Though I've had others tell me they don't find it as prominent, on my own skin, I can smell the jasmine top note consistently- it's one of the reasons I love this perfume. As perfumes go, Alien is not particularly subtle- it has decent sillage, and the mixture of jasmine and citrus makes a fair impression on the nostrils! Underneath the jasmine and citrus, Alien does have a soft, woody tone that's almost spicy, which really balances out the scent and makes it such a winner in my book- it's not quite as musky and bold as patchouli, but it's a similar earthy quality. I get around six hours strong wear time from Alien when applied to my skin- if I spray it on my clothes, the scent lingers much longer- I've had scarves smell like it for days! Though it's superficial, one of the littler things I love about Alien is the bottle. Though I'll only buy fragrances I know I'll wear, I love to display the bottles, and Aliens bottle is one which definitely lends itself to being displayed- it'd be almost criminal not to! The bottle is a deep, amethyst purple, and faceted to look like some ethereal gemstone (perfect for a perfume named Alien!) Though I often find gold-tone accents tacky, they're managed well on the bottle; they're minimal, which reads classy instead of cheap to me. It's a fragrance I love and reach for again and again, and the range of sizes available is really handy. Definitely a keeper in my book.
Thierry Mugler Alien Refillable Eau De Parfum The bottle to start with looks fantastic, great design makes me think of an amethyst which i love as it's my birthstone. The shape of the bottle gives a jewel effect and the best part of all is the bottle is actually a refill so no need to throw this beauty away! The smell of the perfume was brilliant, i had complements all day of how nice i smelt so a nice long lasting fragrance. Mystic, exotic and rich, this fragrance captures the seductress in us all. A unique and sophisticated fragrance that conveys passion, sensuality and the essence of absolute feminity. A woody scent, Smbolises calm and serenity A pricy perfume despite it being out since 2006 but seen as its a refill it kind of makes up for the price. In my experience i will definatly be buying this again as this is a fantastic perfume just the look and packaging is enough to get me hooked as well as the refill bottle with handy funnel athough the price it can be forgiven as over time i will more an likely save in the long term as i am also recycling so good for the enviroment which is a big bonus. 10 out of 10
FIRST IMPRESSION The first time I ever noticed this perfume was actually from a free sample featured in a magazine and I knew I had to have it from that moment. I love all things unique and individual and for me, this ticked all the right boxes. The scent itself is hard to describe as it is so unusual, the thing that grabs me is that is is sweet and spicy with hints of sandalwood. GENERAL WEAR The amount of compliments received wearing this is unreal. Having said that, a little goes a VERY long way, I am known to be a big fan of spraying on an awful lot of perfume however if you spray on too much it can be extremely overbearing, almost headache inducing. The other downside I would say is the price, not exactly an everyday affordable perfume but if you want to invest in an enchanting and amazing night perfume, I would highly recommend investing in this perfume.
I have never really been a fan of the Thierry Mugler fragrances but I was given this one as a gift so decided to give it a try. The scent was not one that I'd heard of before but the overall appearance of the fragrance was very interesting. This fragrance was launched in 2005 so it isn't very recent but it is still being sold but the brand are mostly known for the 'Angel' fragrance. The name is an odd one for a perfume and I didn't know whether this would signify the fact that it is unusual but I wasn't expecting the scent to be like it was. PACKAGING The perfume comes in a purple bottle that is quite futuristic looking. It has a shape almost like a robot or something from space is, I suppose the idea they are trying to go for. The bottle is not the most exciting or feminine looking as it is quite chunky. I think it has quite a cheap design look to it and although it does tie in with the name of the scent I just think it could be a lot more feminine and symbolise more what the scent itself is about as it doesn't say much. ALIEN The scent on first spray is quite a heavy one like most Thierry Mugler scents. It is mainly floral and it has what I'd also say was quite musky. It is really hard to pick out the main notes in this scent but it does seem quite feminine still and unique. To have a name like 'Alien' it is not clear what I expected from this perfume but I do think it is an alright fragrance on smelling it for the first time but wearing it a bit more makes it a bit easier to really get an idea of the true notes. On searching for the notes, it is said that the top notes are of jasmine so this will be the floral notes and then the heart notes are woody as well as the base notes being of amber. The combination of notes are not obvious on spraying the perfume apart from the floral which is probably the most overpowering. The musky hints are probably me getting the amber notes wrong but I do feel these all work well together even though they do create a heavy scent but it does work. The scent doesn't fade after wearing it for a while, it still stays on quite heavy but being a heavy scent it does still seem to me, more of a younger fragrance. It is definitely long lasting and one spray is enough to make it go all through the day or the evening depending on when you choose to wear this. I tend to use this more in the evenings as it strikes me as an evening perfume but if you are more daring then you may like wearing a stronger scent in the day. For a Thierry Mugler scent and not being a fan, I have to say this fragrance is not too bad. I don't know if I would have picked it out myself had I not been given it as a gift. The reason being that this is not the kind of notes that appeal to me but if you do like a stronger fragrance and like it to be noticed then you will probably like this perfume as Alien is unique and it is one to be noticed. COST This perfume can be bought online at The Perfume Shop or in store, the 30ml bottle £39.50, the 60ml bottle £66.50. They also do refills for the bottle on this website too which are a lot cheaper. On eBay if you have a look at the auctions there are a lot of good prices on this scent, you just need to browse and see what you can find. The official Thierry Mugler website is http://www.mugler.com/uk/en/ where there is a page on this scent.
This perfume is one of my absolute favourites! After being initially attracted by the strange bottle, and even stranger name, Alien turns out to be a lot less strange in reality. It's a heavy perfume as it were, and not for the fluffy, light and sweet perfume lovers. It's quite heady, and distinct so you only need a little, but like all good perfumes should, Alien lasts the day and it's undernotes kick out throughout the day as it settles in. And once it does settle in, well, you have a perfume for life. It is definitely a signature scent although more of a night-time one than an all-dayer. It's sexy and provocative, and makes you feel a little confident wearing such an unusual perfume. I'd recommend this perfume to anyone wishing to find a new smell. And even if you don't like it- the bottle is super pretty anyway!
I received this fragrance as a birthday present from my Auntie who knows how much I like unusual bottles of perfume. And it doesn't get more unusual that this. Alien is fragrance which has been created by Thierry Mugler and is contained within a royal purple glass perfume bottle that has been designed to look like an alien object. With its curved edging and gold metallic detailing, it is one of the most striking bottles I've ever seen. The fragrance is designed to convey a message of femininity and sensuality mixed into with hint of passion. It aims to create an air of mystery around those who wear it and to give you an other world quality. It claims to be unlike anything you have smelt before, being distinctive and memorable yet soft. The top note is jasmine, a sweet floral aroma and this is one of the dominant scents. The middle note is Cashmeran Wood and this, along with the jasmine, is the most powerful scent that I can detect. It gives the perfume an almost dry, woody aroma that is hard to explain. The base notes is a rich amber that gives this fragrance a deep, heavy and heady feeling that adds to the magical and mysterious atmosphere that the scent is trying to create. This scent is rather uncomplicated in its ingredients with only three mains aromas included. This simplicity is not conveyed in the actual fragrance of the perfume as it is in fact complicated and hard to label. For that reason, I suppose Thierry Mugler has succeeded in making the perfume smell like no other. This perfume is incredibly powerful and you won't want to overdo this one. When I first got it, I was a little spray happy and made myself and those around me feel sick. One or two sprays will be more than enough and even that small amount will linger all day. It is definitely distinctive, arguably mysterious but certainly not soft. Nowadays, it is quite difficult to put something under a 'feminine' heading as we are all becoming so different. If this perfume is to be described as being feminine then I think it is describing a certain group of women. I imagine this would suit women who are powerful, ambitious and confident. This wouldn't really suit a wall flower or girly girl. Although it is sickly sweet, the woody aspect makes it strong and heavy. I personally prefer lighter fragrances and I certainly wouldn't repurchase this or make it my signature fragrance. However, I do love the smell and I enjoy using it on special occasions when I want to make an impact. The perfume comes in a variety of sizes and will cost you around £38 for 30ml and the price increases as the size of the bottle does. It can be purchased from large department stores such as Boots, from many different perfume stores and also from plenty of online websites. All in all, if you don't like jasmine or heavy fragrances then you really won't like this. If you like your fragrance to make you stand out, then give this a try.
I first came across Thierry mugler alien when I received a sample free in one of my magazines and when I first applied it I wasn't impressed enough to go out and buy a bottle but as the scent settled in I couldn't stop smelling it. This perfume is nothing like I have ever used before and is very individual. The perfume comes in a very attractive looking shaped bottle that is made from purple glass. The design of the bottle is very unusual and gives the impression of expensive amethyst stones. The spray is dispensed on the top by simply pressing the gold button. As I mentioned before this scent is like nothing I have have ever used in the past and the most common word to describe it would be soft and feminine yet strong and confident. This fragrance blends notes of rich floral woody amber, jasmine sambac, cashmeran wood and white amber to make the fragrance dreamlike and irresistible. A lot of my friends are firm fans of the Thierry mugler angel perfume and swore that they would never find a more unusual fragrance yet I believe this one is just as nice yet more feminine. Alien is rather expensive to buy but due to the scent being quite strong you only need a small amount applied to the neck and wrists to make the scent stand out all night as it is also very long lasting. You can purchase alien in a refillable or non refillable bottle. The non refillable bottles range from about £38.00 for 30ml and the refillable bottles are about £48.00. The non refillable bottles are more expensive but end up saving money in the long run as you can just take them along to Debenhams to fill them back up. Overall I love this scent and I have been complimented a few times when I have been wearing it. I would definitely recommend going and getting a tester.
Alien, is the 2005 follow up to the very successful Thierry Mugler fragrance "Angel". Upon creating Alien, Thierry Mugler was quoted as saying... "When we did Angel, we were completely innocent, and then it became number one in the world," he said. "Creating Alien was a huge challenge because now the whole world is watching." It was whilst reading Vogue, and noticing a little insert which was essentially a mini pull out perfume bottle, that I came across "Alien" by Terry Mugler. Although just an advert, this little bottle made up of sleek card, which when you pulled the tab and pressed down would spray you with perfume, kept coming to the attention of my senses as I stuck the sample on the wall. The scent seemed to last forever, and it was almost like having an air freshener in the room! I'm used to smelling many perfumes, particular when they include some form of sample in a magazine, as I am doing a degree in Graphic Design Advertising... but the scent of this perfume was just something different which really intrigued me, and so when I was blessed with the messiah that is my student loan, I decided to treat myself with a bottle. I had a good look around online to find the cheapest deal, and found you could either buy the refillable or non refillable bottle. Suprisingly, and to my delight each bottle contains the Eau de Parfum, meaning I wasn't buying yet another short lasting Eau D'Toilette! I ended up buying the non-refillable bottle for £38 from the Perfume Shop, as the other bottle although may work out cheaper in the long run, costs £60 which is about a 3 weeks food shop for me, so I could never justify spending that much on a perfume! The Bottle: "The power of a talisman. The faceted bottle is set with gold claws. Reminiscent of a stone and precious talisman, it seems to contain the energy of an Alien Solar goddess. Engraved in glass like an enigma, it's symbolic name is reflected, mirror-like." Now in reference to the title "Alien", I can certainly see some otherwordly connection with the design of the bottle, as it looks like it may have belonged to one of Doctor Who's former lovers. On the other hand, it also looks like a mystical and luxurious gift from the east, with it's deep purple colouring and flashes of gold, including a gold spray mechanism on top (there is no separate lid). The bottle is smaller than I would have expected, as it contains 30ml of perfume. The shape of the bottle is edgy, and it has 8 sides to it, which are slightly haphazard, yet the overall result still manages to look sleek and glamorous. I would say this is probably the most interesting and intriguing perfume bottle I have ever owned. The Scent: Onto the star attraction, and to put it simply - the scent is devine, dream-like and ultimately the most amazing perfume I have ever had the pleasure of smelling. "Thierry Mugler leads us towards a femininity derived from a world infused with bliss and spirituality, at the crossroads between what is real and extroadinary." It's notes include jasmine sambac, casherman wood, white amber, vanilla and solar accord. I'm not quite sure how all of these smell individually, but as a combination I can tell you they work beautifully together, and I can definitely detect the woody undertones, yet the lighter more fragrant jasmine and white amber. What I would say about the scent is, although it is unusual, it's a pleasant unusual, and not at all in marmite territory, like fragrances such as Dior's "pure poison", which I personally think is a real love/hate kind of scent. One of the best aspects of the scent, is as it's an Eau de Parfum, it is incredibly long lasting. I remember trying the sample bottle, and still being able to smell the scent on my wrist after I had been in the shower! One spray will literally last for hours, which for me is perfect as I detest having to re apply perfume throughout the day, as I just see it as a waste of the product. As for it's suitability, this is definitely not a fruity teenage scent, as it's more grown up and sophisticated than that. Although I would say this scent does suit night time, I have been wearing it in the day because of it's long staying power. Although it is a prominent scent, it's the kind of smell which wouldn't equal overkill, if used within the day time. I would also recommend this for special occasions, as it has that air of elegance and glamour to it. I also asked some of my male friends (who are generally quite blunt with their opinions), what they thought of the scent after handing them the bottle to smell. The general reaction was "strong, but nice!", and usually they criticise me to wind me up, but this was genuine, so it's nice to know the opposite sex like this perfume too. Overall: This is my first experience with Thierry Mugler perfumes, as I have never really heard about them before I saw the insert in Vogue, however I would thoroughly recommend getting hold of a sample, or buying a bottle for yourself as you definitely get your moneys worth in terms of staying power, and of course that beautiful, mystical fragrance. When I spray myself with "Alien", I instantly feel glamorous, Parisian even. It comes across as other worldly with the name and the bottle design, however this should be embraced rather than avoided, just because it initially appears somewhat different. I struggle to fault this perfume on anything but the price, (if buying the refillable option for £64). The concept is mystical yet very appealing, just like the smell - which has an incredible staying power and is certainly like nothing I have smelt before. It would make for a wonderful gift too, however if that was me I would struggle to give this away as it smells so good! My recommendation? Try Alien for yourself.
Back in the 90's Thierry Mugler launched 'Angel', a unique and distinctive fragrance which became very popular, although it had been around for quite sometime before I experienced the fragrance for myself when I was bought a bottle for Christmas a few years after its launch. It was far too expensive for me to be able to justify buying a bottle for myself previously. Angel was quite unlike any other perfume I had owned up until that point. I was also quite taken with its design, the star shaped bottle and luxurious packaging which made me feel it was something extra special. So when 'Alien' appeared in 2005, I was curious to try it, wondering if Thierry Mugler could come up with yet another unique fragrance? Once again this fragrance comes with an expensive price tag, however, the design and packaging looks just as luxurious as with their previous products. The bottle once again has a unique and attractive design : a deep purple colour which I love and a shape that is unlike any other bottles which sit on my dressing table. A striking design of purple and gold which is actually 'alien' to anything else I have seen and does have a certain sci-fi appeal. The actual fragrance is very worthy of its 'unique' title. On sampling this fragrance in a department store I simply had to have some and fell in love with it immediately. After some generous hinting in the direction of my partner, I was delighted when a bottle of Alien appeared amongst my Christmas presents. Thierry Mugler Alien notes include solar accord, jasmine sambac, green notes, cashmeran, vanilla, and transparent amber. I had absolutely no idea what solar accord is but apparently it is similar to the cashmeran notes which are pale, abstract and warm and a synthetic mix of florals with musk and amber. The abstract sweetness and warmth is also what makes up the solar accord. I much prefer musky, amber, spicy or oriental fragrances to floral or fruity ones, but I think where Thierry Mugler have managed to create a truly unique fragrance with Alien, is by blending the two together. The result being that fans of both floral, fruity and spicy oriental fragrances will enjoy this fragrance. Lovers of floral fragrances who are looking for something a little different whilst retaining floral notes may find Alien to be just what they are looking for. Likewise those like myself who prefer the muskier scents but appreciate a slight floral scent, could also find themselves enticed by Alien. On first spraying Alien onto my skin, I find its scent starts off quite subtle, with a gentle sweet floral scent detectable. Maybe this is the solar accord? It then develops quickly, the scent becoming stronger and more musky but still retaining a subtle scent of jasmine. It also seems to give off a unique scent which I find difficult to describe, other than that it is quite spicy, but this is what gives Alien its uniqueness, and an ethereal quality. It makes me feel like I am wearing something special, something luxurious and for that reason, Alien is not what I would describe as an everyday perfume. Its fragrance says to you that this is special and therefore I feel it is best worn on an evening or nights out, special occasions etc. Another bonus to this unique fragrance is its staying power. It just seems to last and last on my skin. I can smell it on myself hours after spraying it, although it is not overly strong. It seems to emit subtle scents, leaving a gentle scent behind in a room when you walk through it. A few friends of mine have asked what this fragrance is when I have worn it and have since purchased it themselves, with one of my friends declaring that Alien has been made for her and is the scent she has waited all her life for! Generous praise indeed, but I have to agree that Alien is so unique and special, that I actually feel that way about it myself. There are not many fragrances I fall in love with, but Alien is one of them. There are fragrances I like, but only one or two I 'love' and after discovering the magical and luxurious scent of Alien, I know I don't want to be without it. When Thierry Mugler launched Angel, they were completely innocent, but the fragrance really took off and became number one in the world. So creating Alien became a massive challenge because the pressure was on for them to come up with another successful and unique fragrance. I personally feel they have surpassed the charms of Angel with this fragrance. Alien is a captivating and sensual, unique fragrance and I love it. I also think it is safe to say that if you liked Angel you will love Alien. Yes is can be quite expensive when compared to some other fragrance but I recently purchased a bottle for £35 for 30ml at Debenhams, which isn't too bad. It is also available in bottles which can be refilled, which makes it a cheaper purchase next time around.
Want to smell amazing? Need a knock out scent to grab attention for all the right reasons? Want that scent to last all night? If you've answered yes to all of these questions you need to indulge in a bottle of Alien. It is the most luxuriously gorgeous smelling perfume I have ever worn! I discovered this perfume approximately two years ago and it is my signature scent for a night out or special occasion. One spray or squirt and I feel instantly powerful, glamorous and sexy. I wear Alien at night as the scent is strong and it is definitely a "night" perfume rather than one you would wear every day, to work, etc. Although strong, the scent is not overwhelming and, more importantly, does not knock people out when they smell it (you know the type that I mean). Hundreds of people have commented on how amazing I smell every time I have worn Alien and I find that there aren't that many women who have heard of Alien so this guarantees that you smell like no-one else in the room, restaurant or bar! It certainly helped me during my single days and although it may seem a strange concept for a perfume to make you feel attractive but Alien really does seem to have that magical power. I find that Alien lasts all night long (8 hours minimum). I only spray/squirt a couple of times on my pulse points when I wear it. Sometimes, even after a night out in bars and clubs, I can still smell the perfume the following morning so you really do get a long lasting scent. The perfume itself is therefore extremely good value for money. I find that a 30ml bottle lasts approximately 6 months (I use it for two nights a week). I would also thoroughly recommend the refillable bottle as it is really good value for money and the small purse bottle fits in any handbag and is just adorable! The packaging is an added bonus and if you are one of those people who likes to display your perfume on your dressing table then Alien will sit there like a precious gem, drawing attention from anything else on there! I've kept all of my empty bottles and they catch the light beautifully! A gorgeously attractive, sensual scent that any woman should wear to make an impact and feel amazing.
Alien is one of the more recent additions to the Thierry Mugler fragrance range. Released in 2009, master perfumers Bruyere and Ropion imagined this 'elixir-like concoction' like an invitation made up of 3 revelations: floral, woody and amber-toned. One of the perfumes most unusual qualities is its solar accord note. This note gives the same impression as that of a cashmeran accord: something light, abstract, warm and reassuring. Cashmeran accord has established a reputation in the fragrance industry of being a delicate, reminiscent character that resembles the feel of soft, cashmere wool. The cashmeran accord consists of amber, musk and florals. The result is a sweet-smelling, gentle, comforting and warming scent - the solar accord effect. The fragrance opens with top notes of mandarin essences that tingle and dresses the aura just like the sun light of Thierry's goddess. The acidic and refreshing bursts of citrus' skins intensify the luminosity of the entire composition. Heart notes are dominated with scents of Moroccan jasmine with the added concentrated aroma of white flowers. This blend of floral fragrances provides a feminine quality to the perfume. With base notes of white amber, of which are further blended with Cashmeran accords, the final effect leaves the user feeling desirable and sensual. On a negative note, I don't know if anybody else has noticed this also, but I can make out a faint trace of something rather strange and chemical/solvent like, perhaps if I had to describe it I'd say it was similar to spirits, or nail-varnish remover. The bottle can be re-filled in stores, so you can refill your bottle and replenish your 'solar and positive energy' whenever you need to, so you may never need be without it. Thierry Mugler Alien is an abstract fragrance that generates from its ingredients, an experience that is impulsive and to some extent - inconceivable. The alchemy is unique and its energising power - simply entrancing.
I can still remember my reaction to the first time I smelt this fragrance. I was completely mesmerized. I was also quite surprised to find that I liked the fragrance because I am not a huge fan of its sister perfume, Angel. The first thing you will notice is the gorgeous bottle which is a lovely deep purple and gold colour and is shaped almost like an Alien! The fragrance itself is quite strong, but unique and distinctive. The main scent used is amber with woody and floral overtones. Because of the strength, you only need to use a small amount and you will find that it lasts for a really long time as well. It is a real head turning scent - I once wore it on a work night out and a guy told me he was instantly in love with me because of my perfume!! This is not an every day perfume - it is definitely a night out or special occasion perfume. If you want a lighter version, there is a version in the shops at the moment called Alien Sunessence which has the same distinctive amber overtones but with a lighter, citrus note to it. One drawback is the price - you are looking around £40 for a bottle but it really lasts well and is a good investment. Also, inside the box, you get a cute little card which tells you more about the origins of the perfume and also a code to enter on the website so that you can get updates on new products. This is well worth the effort because Thierry Mugler often releases limited edition fragrances which are really difficult to get hold of once they have stopped making them.
After spending years trying to find the Perfect perfume I came across Alien on holiday a long time ago and fell in love with it. It suited me perfectly. I'm rather fussy when it comes to perfume, I tend to find a lot of them "too much" but this is gorgeous. I've not worn anything else since I discovered it. I think it's quite hard to describe the scent of Alien so I would suggest you test it the next time you're at a fragrance counter. The ingredients include woody amber, jasmine and vanilla which give it a really mysterious, quite floral fragrance. One thing I love is that it lasts for hours. It's quite a strong perfume so you really don't need to use a lot which makes me less worried about paying the price (around £33). The price isn't cheap but it's worth spending the money I assure you. Once you've run out you can refill the bottle, you don't have to full price for a brand new bottle. Unfortunately I don't know how much the refills are but it is cheaper to do that. The bottle is rather different, quite quirky and a lovely purple colour. I guess it's supposed to look quite alien like but to be honest I don't actually see that myself. It has the usual push down nozzle on the top which gives you a fairly generous squirt. I tend to use one squirt during the day and 2 if I'm going out at night and don't need anymore than that! One thing that I have noticed is that a couple of my friends have asked what perfume I'm wearing and have later purchased Alien, and it smells gorgeous on them too but it does appear to smell different on them so I would definitely recommend that you test it first! It might smell gorgeous on someone you know but it may smell differently on yourself. Though I'd be pretty confident that you'll love it as much as I do!
