Advantages: unique, lasts, a real treat

Disadvantages: can be overpowering...use sparingly

I first tried this fragrance when it launched in 2006. It is such a fantastic fragrance but definitely takes some getting used to. It mainly smells of strong musk and spice but you definitely notice the floral notes and it develops into quite a sweet scent. Its bottle was inspired by lalique glassware and is extremely attractive. I love the way it feels in my hand and the black and gold design looks great on my dresser. The scent lasts the whole day and I tend to spray it into the air, then walk through it as otherwise it can be quite intense on the skin. Apparently the black orchid is an aphrodisiac too so I occasionally wear it if I'm going out somewhere romantic with my partner but you'd have to be careful with that one in case your date isn't as sure about the scent as you!! I would say that this fragrance is for women who aren't afraid to stand out and are confident they don't get things wrong because you need to not worry whether everyone will like the fragrance your wearing as it is so distinctive. I am a professional dancer and I wear this fragrance to auditions because it makes me feel uber successful.
