The first time I tried Tommy girl was in Gran Canaria (aged 19) and on my first package holiday. I went into one of the many fragrance shop and was lured into buying 3 or 4 perfumes. After they spray about 20 fragrances on your arm it is hard to tell the difference so I must admit the reason I bought it was because you got a free tee-shirt.

However, I wasn't disappointed as 12 years later I am still wearing the same fragrance. Tommy Girl smells quite strong. It has a refreshing and energetic floral blend, with low notes of sandalwood and heather. Whenever I spray it, it reminds me of being young, the summer and generally puts me in an upbeat mood. The perfume can be found at most fragrance stores and you can even buy it on www.amazon.co.uk from £18.40 for a 30ml bottle.

I think the best place to buy it is duty free. The perfume generally comes as part of a set and you can often get body lotion or body spray as part of a deal. I mostly buy Tommy Girl at duty free when I need to re-stock.

Tommy Girl - I absolutely love it but as with any other perfume you need to smell it first as perfumes are so individual. It is recommended that Tommy Girl is worn during the day, but I wear it all the time, and even spray some on my pillows!!!
