      A solid fragrance.

**Introduction** A few years ago I received the Tommy Hilfiger fragrance for either Birthday or Christmas and it was the first fragrance which I had been given. As I really liked that fragrance I thought I would try the Tommy Jeans fragrance which is in a very similar bottle and was introduced in 2003 as a special edition of the fragrance. As with most other fragrances there is also a female version, The mens fragrance has a blue lid and the women's fragrance features a red lid but aside from that the bottles are identical. This fragrance is not one of the most available fragrances from Tommy Hilfiger but it has it's fans. The fragrance is available for around the same price as you would expect to pay for the original Tommy fragrance, Anything from around £20 to £35 depending on which size bottle you opt for. **Tommy Jeans** As I mentioned before, the fragrance was released in 2003 to go with the brands Jeans and like it's predecessor Tommy jeans is a fresh, crisp scent which consists mainly of the scent of citrus fruits which combine the following, Bitter Orange, Grapefruit & Mandarin. The scent also features woody notes which give the overall feel a more common note. Although similar in scent to the original, the fragrance changes with the more woody nature of these notes and these make for a worthwhile change. Below is a run-down of the notes which feature in this fragrance. The fragrance is one of around six or seven Tommy Hilfiger fragrances which I have owned over the years. Top Notes Already mentioned above we have the citrus notes of Bitter Orange, Grapefruit, Mandarin. I really like the initial spray of the fragrance as this gives you a very pleasant scent indeed. The top notes typically last for around two to three hours before fading into the middle notes. Middle Notes Next up we have the middle notes which feature a blend of Oceanic and Herbaceous Notes to give the fragrance a still light yet a little musky feel. This middle part of the fragrance gives a nice change which differs a little from the original and typically lasts a good two to three hours before blending into the base notes. Base Notes We end the fragrance on a nice woody note with a fine Chipolte Wood blend. This is one of the more rare fragrances which feature just the one base note as there are usually two or three in each of the three note stages. The fragrance fades after another two to three hours. **Overall** This is a very good fragrance and is different enough to the original to be worthwhile. I like fragrances that blend a fruity start with a woody end and this is certainly one of those fragrances. I would recommend it for the younger male and it's ideal for daytime wear and nights out so it's a fragrance that is fairly versatile which is always a bonus. This is not one of the more well known fragrances from Tommy Hilfiger but don't let that put you off as it's a really pleasant scent which lasts a decent amount of time and is versatile enough for several different occasions and I'm sure women will like it on their partner too which is always a bonus.
