Advantages: Feminine, Romantic, Fresh

Disadvantages: Not enough staying power

I'm not a girly-girl; I only wear make-up when I have to and I'm not concerned about the latest fashions, however I do have a bit of an obsession with smelling good!!!

My latest favourite is Truth by Calvin Klein, which I discovered in Duty Free this September.

The fragrance:
This is a fragrance for women, it's difficult to describe a smell, but I'll do my best. To me, the fragrance is divine - floral with 'woody' undertones which stop it from being 'sickly sweet'. I tend to wear it all the time and I think it's suitable for any occasion.
This fragrance is very feminine and romantic, as well as being fresh at the same time - my husband thinks it smells fab too (which is just as well really!).

The packaging:
Similar to other Calvin Klein products, the box is simple, neat and sophisticated. The bottle is tall and slim in design (and therefore fits easily into my handbag, one side of the bottle is curved and the glass is matt/frosted.
The bottle I have is pale pink with a darker pink lid, though the clear versions seem to be the most common. The packaging itself gives the product style and a classy look.

Disadvantages:
I don't think that the fragrance lasts as long as it should and I do reapply quite often. Being quite a delicate fragrance, there is more of a hint on the skin than a strong smell, I'd go for something heavier if you like to waft the smell around after yourself!

The cost:
I bought a 50ml Eau de Toilette which set me back around £27 at Schipol Airport. The RRP of this product in UK shops is about £32.

Where can I buy it?
Cheaply, like me, at Duty Free shops or at any perfume stores, large pharmacies or online.

Ingredients:
(these mean nothing to me, but just in case you're interested...)
The Eau de Toilette contains -
Alcohol Denat, Fragrance (Parfum), Water (Aqua), Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Ci
tric Acid, Denatonium Benzoate, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Ethylhexyl Salicylate, Red 33 (Cl 17200), Yellow 5 (Cl 19140)

Complementary Products:
This fragrance is available in Eau de Toilette form in 30ml, 50ml or 100ml.
Since I liked this perfume so much, my husband bought me a little set of Truth oil essences to complement I have a set of 5 oils which are different versions of Truth: Lavender, Bamboo, Citrus, Vanilla & Sapling. These oils smell very similar to the eau de toilette, but with heavier undertones of the specified fragrance. They can be applied to your pulse points or added to a running bath so that you can soak in the lovely smell!!
You can also buy votive candles, body soap, body lotion and incense with the Truth fragrance.

To conclude:
I love this scent; I think it's good value for money and makes me smell gorgeous - I love it - what more can I say!
