Floral scents are my all time favourite choice for a perfume so I was definitely thrilled when I received this fragrance from my boyfriend for Christmas. Given the name I was expecting really good things.
The bottle was a good sign as it has a very classic, elegant and timeless style to it which definitely fits my preference for perfumes too. The bottle is a clear glass bottle which is curved slightly and has curved indentations in it. It has very sleek looking metal accents and the liquid inside is a very nice light yellowy/green colour. The overall look is very simple but elegant and that's totally my style.
The initial smells that hit you with the perfume are obviously floral tones, these are lovely and soft and mixed with slightly aromatic scents which really compliment the florals. There are also woody undertones which give the perfume a little depth and mystery but overall the scent is very fresh, floral and timeless.
The top notes are cassis, bergamot and water which combine together to create a lovely fresh layer which is very clean. The heart notes are honeysuckle, narcissus and jasmine which create this lovely floral core to the perfume which totally compliments the name and the branding. I love how these combine to create an almost powdery softness which is very feminine. The base notes are orris root, lavender, musk and cedar which come together to add a lovely depth to the perfume as well as a further soft floral aspect which strengthens the overall perfume.
This scent retails at around £25-£45 depending on what size bottle you end up going for. I do think this can end up being quite an expensive purchase, especially because the bigger bottles do tend to be better value for money. I would definitely love to have it as a gift again because I do think it has a beautiful smell to it and the design is lovely. That said, I probably wouldn't end up forking out for this without there being quite a good deal/discount on at the time.
Overall, this is definitely a lovely scent but the price might be a little off putting.
I was bought a bottle of the Vera Wang Bouquet by my dad for a birthday and I was rather impressed with his choice, he usually buys rubbish gifts or thrusts £50 in a card! Sometimes it is the thought that counts and I was pleased that he bought me present for a change. Perfume is a very personal choice and you can go very wrong with buying someone perfumes. I am quite open minded to new things though and you cannot really go far wrong with this, its light refreshing and not very overpowering so you will struggle to find someone offended by it.

You can buy the EDP in the 50 ml version for £19.99 on CheapSmells.com and you can buy the 100ml bottle for £38.00 on Amazon. This is averagely priced in the perfume market but then it has been out for a few years now so it's less of an exclusive.
Vera Wang says, "For me, flowers and fragrance are the perfect expression of love and commitment, and a Bouquet symbolizes that union. In the hands of a radiant woman, a Bouquet can be magical"
Interesting... So back to the perfume. The bottle is nice, classical in design without being too fussy. I have a bottle of Dot by Marc Jacobs on my dressing table and dusting it is very annoying. When I had this bottle, it's simplicity is a refreshing change. The thick heavy bottle looks exquisite and rather pricy. The actual perfume is pleasant, very refreshing and bright. It does not smell floral as you would imagine a perfume called "Bouquet." It is a very spring/summery scent and just perfect for a holiday.
This is what the perfume should give you:
Top Notes: Dew Drops, Sicilian Bergamot, Blackcurrant Leaves.
Heart Notes: Paperwhite Narcissus, Honeysuckle.
Base Notes: Lavender, Moroccan Cedar, White Iris Root.
When I smell the perfume I do get a nice pleasant lavender scent but to me it smells quite citrusy. The cedar can be detected once the perfume has settled down and it gives it its earthiness. I really do like the perfume and it is very delicate. The perfume lasts for a few hours but it is not one that stays around for a while, it is rather weak in this respect.
I find the perfume pleasant and very attractive. I certainly would like to own it again as it is just perfect for the summer time. It is not a signature scent though, it really doesn't have much about it but it is very pleasant. I wish it lasted longer, you need to take this one out with you to keep the fragrance topped up.
