“ Brand: Versace / Type: Fragrance / Concentration: Eau de Parfum / Gender: for women „
When I hear the word 'Versace' the first thing that enters my head is 'expensive'. So when I saw an offer on halfpriceperfumes.co.uk advertising Versace - Blonde some inner part of me was saying 'buy, buy, buy' so guess what? I did
(It also helped that pay day was soon approaching!)
It's fortunate I am not writing a review on halfpriceperfumes.co.uk because the review would be quite the opposite of my current ramblings!
The perfume is contained in an oval blue glass which you literally pull two sections apart to open. In the center of the perfume bottle casing is a gold circular button with the Versace Medusa logo.
The smell test
Ordering items online can be a risk - especially if it stinks and you've never used the perfume before!
Fortunately this scent was not repulsive and passed my sniffer test. Although not one member of my family mentioned or noticed the new aroma I was polluting my body with.
So it passed my sniff test - but what exactly does it smell of? Good question
When I first lightly squirted my wrist with some I thought 'oh coconut' but actually after reassessing the smell it was absolutely nothing like coconut - not sure why that even entered my head but hey we all have odd thoughts from time to time don't we? (Please answer yes - for my own sanity).
So let's cut the crap it smells flowery but so do a lot of perfumes, writing a description on a perfume is mighty hard - have you tried? It's not as sweet as other perfumes. Such as those I have previously owned/used: Tommy Girl, DKNY Delicious.
Different can be good but in this case I think it was to grown up. I'm starting to wonder if this scent is familiar to those a decade or so older than myself.
Who's it aimed at?...
I would definitely recommend it to friends (but only those over 35) The scent lasts a long time and although feminine it has a strength; strong feeling about it.
Time we heard the price
I will not give the company I purchased the perfume from any more limelight - I would recommend you buy your perfume from another retailer. It is widely available so you shouldn't have any problems hunting it down.
*Drum roll please*
Versace Blonde is £19.99 based on a 30ml edt spray.
Worth the money?...
Yes, the scent lasts all day and as with most things you get what you pay for. I seem to go through perfume quicker than anyone else I know. Because the scent is strong this isn't necessary and would last a lot longer, which means I have a longer wait until my next exciting perfume shopping extravaganza.
Thanks for sniffing this review out and an additional thanks to those of you that leave a rating. I hope you have a great day. (I'm not creeping honest!).
