I got this perfume as part of a three set gift package which included this in addition to Victoria Beckham's Intimately Yours and Beckham Signature. After trying Intimately Yours I thought it was of a reasonable quality but it was not a fragrance I could fall in love with. I decided to try this one out to see if it was more suited to my personality and taste.
My perfumes were small sized bottles and this one is 15ml. It came packaged in a pink cardboard box which was covered in plastic wrapping. The packaging looks feminine and the pale pink colouring makes you think of floral scents and female delicacy. The bottle is made of thick heavy glass and is square shaped. My bottle is only a couple of inches high but the odd shape and weight means it's not nice to carry around in my handbag as it's awkward and requires a lot of space. It also feels a bit sharp and pointy on the lid which is also square shaped and made of a stiff transparent plastic.
The bottle top is marked with the Beckham logo which is quite regal looking. The logo combines the initials of Victoria and David Beckham and blends them with what looks like a coat of arms type symbol. Overall the perfume looks quite professional and high quality and I'd feel good about giving this as a gift without worrying it looked cheap.
My perfume came with no details about the concept of the fragrance written anywhere on the packaging. I had to google search the perfume to find out anything about it's ingredients or what the scent is supposed to represent. Apparently this fragrance stands for "sophistication, luxury and intimacy" and is supposed to be perfect for "the girl next door". The dominant notes in the perfume are given as vanilla, bergamot and rose.
The perfume can be sprayed with the pump action dispenser and a fine mist is ejected. When the perfume first hits my skin it has a sharp, salty, ocean fresh smell that is quite stimulating. As it warms on my skin it assumes a more musky/floral vibe. There is a bitter sweet kick to the scent which has the flavour of rose petals. The perfume is apparently comprised of some very complicated notes including sandalwood, lily and neroli but to me the perfume is less complicated than that. Overall it feels like a floral cloud which doesn't really overstimulate the senses or award any surprises.
The perfume reminds me of fragrances that I'm used to smelling on other women. It feels very unoriginal and unimaginative in that sense. I would expect to find this perfume being used by ordinary hard working women who like to look and feel good. I wouldn't necessarily say this perfume is suitable for more professional women as it's personality is quite gentle and it is not distinctive enough to create a statement. It's floral base means that it will probably appeal to a lot of women though. It's a perfume that could be used by women of all ages.
The perfume is quite long lasting and noticeable after applying. I'm therefore using it to freshen myself up when I go out. However, this is not a fragrance I particularly like or feel suits my character. This is exactly the kind of perfume that I's say most other women wear and I like to be a bit different and unusual in my choice of fragrance. I therefore would not choose to buy this. However I think that it is a nice gift to give as it is a good quality fragrance.
I ended up buying myself this after trying the Intimately Night scent which is 1 of my favourite scents. I hadn't even smelt this one when I bought it, but there is a Perfume stall that comes to my work every now and again and although there is some bottles that have samples for you to sniff not all of them do. I picked this bottle up for £10 for the 30ml bottle so a good enough price and if I wasn't so keen on it then it just didn't seem that big a waste of money. I believe you can get this in a 75ml bottle as well and as usual the larger the bottle you buy the cheaper it works out.
The bottle looks like the picture - as usual. The box is a large light pink square shape and although it looks simple, it looks quite classic and not overly expensive, but there is an air of cost about this. The bottle is a square shape which is thick glass. You can see the light pink colour of the liquid and the gold bit where the squirt part is looks nice enough as well.
So how does this smell? It is a pretty sweet, floral, girly kind of scent which isn't what I would normally go for. The notes that are in here are Bergamot, White Florals and Rose Petals. So not a huge amount of different scents in here, but you can still smell different notes through this. There seems to be a sparkling scent through this too, but all in all it just makes me think of a block of heavier floral scents. After spraying this in the morning it smelt pretty strong and so sweet with the Florals standing out. Later in the day I could still smell this alright, so it seems to last a good lenght of time as well.
Would I recommend this? Hard to say. It isn't the scent for me as I just don't go for this kind of scent, but I do like this brand of Perfumes and I think that if you like to use Floral scented Perfumes then I would recommend this scent.
It was my birthday a week last Saturday and the young man in my life bought me this "Intimately Beckham" perfume, not my husband, my son.
--Intimately Beckham for Her--
Beautifully packed in a little square, pink box, sealed with cellophane, was a little flat, square shaped glass bottle, containing 30 ml of pink, eau de toilette, Intimately Beckham for her spray, complete with a smaller square pull off glass lid, that once pulled off revealed a gold colored pump spray underneath. Once pressed, the little pump sprayed out in my opinion, the most beautiful, flowery fragrance.
Apparently, Intimately Beckham for her, is the first fragrance for women that bears the Beckham monogram, conveying the essence of Victoria known only by those who are close to her. It is the aroma of a bouquet of white flowers giving off the scent of fresh bergamot and rose petals, that apparently linger on the skin. This is supposed to mean something different and new. With the heart of the Casablanca lily, tuberose and orange blossom, leading to a base of vanilla, sandalwood and a layer of musk.
They say, this scent is, all woman, all self assurance, multi faceted and all inspiring.
The Intimately Beckham collection of fragrances include one for her and one for him, each ranging in size from 30 ml to 75 ml. They also have several other products in the range, which include, hair and body wash, new silk body lotion for women and deodorant spray for women.
The 30 ml bottle cost £15.00 but it had been reduced from £21.00
It can be purchased from a very wide range of places online or otherwise.
Before he gave me my gift, he looked doubtful and said "Happy Birthday, it doesn't matter if you don't like it, I've kept the receipt". I just looked at him and said "Thank you, but I'll like it, don't worry". I think it's the first present he's actually chosen and bought by himself, he is only 13 so I was going to like it, whether I did or not. I opened it up and just had to have a smell of it. I love different scents and have quite a wide range already. The bottles that different perfume comes in fascinate me, I'm sure that's why I buy half of them.
This little bottle was no exception. My son was delighted, as he could see that I really liked it. It has a lovely flowery, yet spicy scent and I do like it very much. I have worn it every day this week, spraying both wrists and a little either side of my neck. The smell is quite strong at first but sadly, I did find that the scent seemed to fade and wear off quite quickly, which is a shame. I found myself having to reapply it so I got extra benefit from the smell of the scent for longer. I'd say that this particular scent could be worn for any occasion, as it boasts a nice subtle aroma, which could be worn any time of the day.
I personally think, it depends on the individual as to how a scent is going to smell on your skin and indeed how long the scent will last on you. On some it could smell revolting and last all day on their skin, others may decide the smell is divine but wears off their skin quickly. I guess it's the same for many of the different scents you can buy these days.
Overall I do like the Intimately Beckham eau de toilette spray, I don't know if it's one I'd have chosen for myself, but I'm glad my son bought it for me, it's special to me, after all it was a gift from my favorite boy.
I give this spray 4 stars because it does smell beautiful but sadly the smell of the scent doesn't last that long on me.
Thank you for reading my review which is also posted on Ciao
==Victoria Beckham - Intimately==
This fragrance is not usually one I would consider buying myself seeing as I am not a great fan of Victoria Beckham. However Christmas does bring about items just like these and I am rather glad it does. My sister in law bought this for me this year and I have worn it everyday since opening it.
The size of the bottle was a nice 75ml which means that it should hopefully last a fair amount of time. The design of the bottle is nothing overly special but it doesn't look like especially cheap fragrance. The bottle is a dumpy cube shape clear glass bottle with the perfume inside being a light shade of pink. It came housed within a light pink cardboard box which I have since thrown away but again this looked rather appealing.
The design of the bottle is a nice one to sit on my dressing table. The lid of the bottle is easy to remove to reveal the squirter applicator. I found that one or two pumps of the squirter is all that is needed to get a good neck coverage and for the fragrance to be a noticeable one.
The smell of the perfume was surprisingly something which I really liked (thus having worn it everyday since getting it). It has a nice floral aroma with rose petals, bergamot along with white flowers. I think this is the most truly feminine fragrance that I have smelt for a long time. The scent is really rather light but still noticeable a good deal throughout the day.
Even spraying a minimal two squirts in the morning by the end of the working day I can still smell this scent on myself albeit much lighter but compared to a lot of other celebrity perfumes this one does seem to have a fair bit of longevity to it.
I have been wearing this fragrance through out the day and the aroma is really that of day wear although summer evenings I am sure would fit it just the same. The light, floral and fresh fragrance would be suitable for most people to wear and I am sure most would enough the feminine scent of it.
I have to admit that since I don't have much love for Victoria Beckham I wasn't especially excited when I opened up this present but once I had smelt the aroma of it I was really pleased. I think you could pick this bottle up for under £20 and I would say that it is well worth it and I would not hesitate to purchase it again for myself or even as a present.
All in all it has to be said that this perfume looks okay, is a good price, has a lovely staying smell and is a top scoring celebrity perfume. I give it a score of 5 out of 5 and a very high recommendation.
Many thanks for taking the time to read.
I do hope that this has been of some help/interest to you.
I bought this perfume not long after it was released by Coty in 2006. I bought it because I'd smelt it on a friend and loved it! I had never bought a 'celebrity' perfume before and was surprised that this is what my friend had been wearing. The price was very reasonable for a day to day perfume at around £20 for 75ml.
The perfume comes in a squat glass bottle which is a cube shape. There are gold finishes on the spray head and the top of the bottle where the pump attaches. The lid is transparent so you can see the gold. There is a white sticker on the front of the bottle edged with gold and with the name of the perfume on it in gold as well. This general design makes it look quite classy from afar, but on closer examination it's a bit tacky really and the gold on the sticker began to wear off quite quickly with regular use of the product.
The thing I really like about this fragrance is that smells lovely, and, second to my Chanel Coco Mademoiselle fragrance, it is the one which I am most frequently complimented on. The scent is floral, with notes of white flowers, bergamot and rose petals, however, the rose is not particularly detectable which I think is good as this can lend a rather old fashioned element to fragrances.
I think the fragrance is suitable for day wear, and is aimed at women in their twenties. However, I think it would also suit anyone who likes a fresh, floral fragrance. It doesn't last long, and if I put it on before work in the morning I can barely detect it by lunch. However, as it's an eau de toilette I would not expect it to last much longer than this anyway, especially for the price.
I would say that the one thing I don't like about the fragrance is the brand! I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to 'celebrity' and all its associations and I find myself a bit embarrassed to say that I'm wearing a Victoria Beckham fragrance. Normally people are surprised when I tell them what perfume it is, as I don't think they would have expected such a fresh, pleasant and sophisticated fragrance from this brand.
All in all, I think this is a great fragrance for everyday use, as long as you don't mind telling people you're wearing a Beckham fragrance, because they're bound to ask!
I am a bit obsessive when it comes to perfumes. I love them. I can't help it - some girls love shoes, I love perfume. At least I don't love both though I would happily spend an obscene amount of money in Jimmy Choo should I win the lottery! I am not snobbish when it comes to perfumes as long as it smells nice I will wear it and I am a major sucker for the celebrity scenets so when the Beckham's first brought out their fragrances I admit I wanted to try the Victoria Beckham scent and asked for it for Christmas a few years ago.
Intimately Beckham came out in 2005 (I think - I am sure I was pregnant when I got the giftset) and it was available in two scents - the David Beckham: Intimately and the Victoria Beckham: Intimately. Both designed for the male and female markets as well as being a joint venture for David and Victoria.
Being something to do with Victoria Beckham, I was expecting something sophisticated as well as elegant and I wasn't disappointed. Intimately is available in 30ml and 50ml bottles and can be picked up for £13.99 and £18.99 respectively though this is a fairly older perfume now and can more than likely be picked up even cheaper if you look around. It is still available readily on the high street and online so it isn't something that is hard to track down.
The box is very simple. It is baby pink and in embossed gold there is the DVB symbol (which stands for David Victoria Beckham) and underneath that there is a rectangular text box with the words Intimately Beckham inside. I will be the first to admit that I found the name tacky and if I am honest, a little off putting. I certainly don't want to be Intimately Beckham! But I was more than curious about the perfume and had heard many good things about it so I let the name slide but whoever gave the okay for adding "Beckham" on the end to "Intimately" really needs sacking!
Inside the box you are greeted with a square, clear glass bottle. The bottle reminds me of the shape of Chanel No5 and I think that is the level of class the Beckham's were aiming for. It is a nice classy looking bottle although very simple. You can see through the bottle and you can see that like the box, the liquid of the perfume is pink. You can easily see how much of the perfume you have used which is a definate plus. On the front of the bottle there is a sticker (which I felt was a little bit tacky) which states the name of the perfume. This sticker looks the same as the rectangular text box on the front of the box. Personally, I felt a sticker was a bit cheap for a product that was aiming to be something more if I am honest. Further up the bottle to the neck there is a gold plated square and then a square lid which is has the DVB branding engraved into the top. The lid is see through and you can see the gold plated spray nozzle.
Scent wise, this perfume is purely floral. When I got married, I kept saying to my husband that the scent of my bouquet was similar to something else (my husband had the reply of "errrm, flowers?!") and it wasn't until a few weeks after our wedding that I reached for this perfume again and realised that it smells almost identical to my wedding bouquet! The scent notes in this perfume are mostly white flowers; bergomot, rose, Casablanca lily, tuberose, orange blossom, vanilla, sandalwood and musk. When I smell this perfume and on my skin I can mostly smell the lily, rose and vanilla. It is sweet and girly but yet it has a sophisticated edge to it brought by the Sandalwood and musk which makes it have an expensive feel to it. It isn't a teenage girl scent in my opinion but one suited more to a woman in her twenties. It is a very feminine scent without being overpowering.
This is a very delicate scent though it is not unnoticeable. It lasts on the skin well and I find that it usually lasts me 4-5 hours which isn't too bad especially for a celebrity branded perfume. It isn't too overpowering nor is it headache inducing. It is demure and pretty. Definately what I expected from Victoria Beckham.
I definately recommend this perfume. You shouldn't be put off by the name nor who endorses it.
Last Christmas I was given this perfume as part of a gift from my husband's Gran who bought it from QVC.
I'm not really impressed by celebrity endorsed products as it is, so I didn't have high hopes for this perfume. However, I couldn't have been more wrong in my assumptions and this perfume surprised me.
The box that the perfume came in was a dark purple box with gold lettering. This looks really nice on my dresser (I do like my boxes! Haha) and the bottle itself looks great, too, with no obvious "Victoria Beckham" markings on it unless under closer inspection. The bottle is a glass boxy shape - with a see-through lid and gold pump. It is very classy and grown-up looking and also looks nice sitting on the dresser in the bottle.
The fragrance itself is gently musky and won't cling to your skin for days. It will leave a nice scent on your clothes and no marks (although I suspect that's to be expected with perfume). It's a lovely perfume to wear on nights on, dates or to work as it's got a very subtle scent.
I was originally given this perfume as a present. Now, I am not the biggest Victoria Beckham fan in the world (she is okay and I have nothing against her, but I would not call myself a 'fan'), so I was a little dubious as to what this would smell like and if I would actually admit to the perfume that I was wearing if anyone were to ask!
On my first spray of this fragrance, my initial concerns and prejudices were thrown out of the window. It is a gorgeous, uplifting and very feminine scent which is ideal for summer. I am not the biggest fan of sweet or fruity perfumes and prefer more musky scents however, this perfume seems to be light and fresh enough for summer but also with a hint of musky depth to it.
** The Fragrance **
The fragrance itself is quite floral in smell rather than fruity and is certainly not sickly or overpowering. It has a light, fresh and sensual aroma which immediately makes you feel feminine and sexy. There are hints of rose petal combined with some other, less distinctive floral scents, as well as a subtle smell of vanilla. A light scent perfect for summer!
** The Packaging **
This perfume comes in a square pink box with the famous Beckham emblem on the front. There is something about the simplicity of this packaging that oozes elegance and sophistication. The perfume bottle is also very elegantly designed and again, is very simple yet sleek. It is also clear which means you can easily see how much perfume you have left. The perfume itself is pink in colour which looks fabulous.
** The Price **
You would assume because this is part of the Beckham empire that the price would be outrageous but it is not. It can be bought for around £15-£20. It is not very readily available but if you do your research you can usually get it locally (Superdrug, boots, etc.). It is much cheaper to buy online though if you can wait for the delivery.
** Summary **
I love this perfume and have bought many more bottles since my initial encounter. It is feminine, floral and seductive - a perfect fragrance for summer. The scent can last all day and therefore a 30ml bottle can last you a good 6-8 months. Well worth the cheap price tag!
WOW! Another amazing perfume from the Beackams. When i bought the perfume it was on sale at the perfume shop, Bristol. I bought the perfume for £37.99 for a 75ml bottle, yes it is very expensive but the prices have lowered a bit since last year! the smell is not fruity like most perfumes but has a more alcohol smell to it with a hint of rose/lilly.
When i first put the perfume on to go out i thought at first it was too strong and was a bit disappointed, but through the evening the smell died down a little and lots of people were complimenting me on my perfume 'i was thrilled'. When i look for a perfume i usually want something that will turn heads and have everyone wondering, which is when i realised how much i actually loved this perfume. The packagaing was very pretty and i loved the llok of the glass and the pink liquid. the box it came in was pink and had the logo of the perfume/designer on the front.
The Beckams are in partenership with 'Coty New York' who have given us fragrances like Exclamation and adidas deodorants and body sprays.
An Intimately perfect perfume from Victoria Beckham.
This perfume also comes in 50ml & 30ml bottles and mini bottles to pop in your handbag for a night on the town, and it also comes in intimately beckam 'Night Woman perfume' 50ml on sale at amazon for only £14.99
So, the perfect perfume has been created finally and it a little expensive but it is very mcuh worth it. I hope this review has been useful to you.
I have never before owned a 'celebrity' perfume, always feeling that they were a little... well... naff! I always thought they were a bit of a money-making gimmick and probably wouldn't be that nice. So when I was bought Intimately by Victoria Beckham for Christmas one year I wasn't quite sure what to think but when I smelt it I was pleasantly surprised. It has a really lovely, gentle, slightly flowery fragrance that is fresh and not at all overpowering. I now wear it regularly and really enjoy wearing it too. It may not be the most expensive and definitely not the most credible but when it comes to perfume, shouldn't it really just be the smell that counts!? I've tried out many of the top brand perfumes, priced to the hilt and associated with extravagant fashion houses and some of them are quite simply horrible.
Whilst it's hard to recommend a particular perfume to anyone, as it is a very personal thing, I'd say don't rule out fragrances like this one by Posh, you might be surprised and find a great fragrance to add to your collection.
As a general rule, I avoid buying 'celebrity' fragrances, as I feel they are just ways for them to make money rather than them being interested in what goes into the scent.
I decided to try Victoria's because my partner had the men's version which smelt rally good on him.
*** The Bottle ***
The bottle is very feminine, it has a square base which is made from stained glass that is soft pink in colour, and the lid is also square, which reveals a gold spray top.
The bottle is pretty plain, and normally this is not my kind of thing, but it suit's the product really well being called 'intimately' and with this perfume less is definitely more
*** Price ***
Price wise, you can pick up a 30ml bottle for less than a £10, there is not many perfumes you can say that about.
For the quality of perfume you get, this is fantastic value for money, even if you use it vigorously its still going to last you.
*** Scent ***
I was quite surprised by this scent, I expected it to be very strong, as the men's version is very strong. The ladies is very soft and gentle, not at all overpowering.
It smells a little musky, but it is very light and delicate. A lot of perfumes tend to give me a headache if they are too poignant. With this, I don't have the problem, I can spray it and it leaves a very soft fragrance on my still
*** Durability? ***
With the scent being so soft, I only expected it to last an hour or so, so I was quite surprised when I came home from a day shopping and could still smell it, thus making it excellent for everyday ware and also evening ware because it is so delicate, but long lasting.
*** Final Thoughts ***
A really good all round scent, nothing like I expected as the smell is soft and very feminine. It is long lasting which means the bottle will last you ages, and at £10 a bottle it's a steel.
Good for all occasions so a definite recommendation from me!
This is the only 'Beckham' perfume I have as I won it in a competition and to be honest I am not really that impressed with it.
It came in a pale pink box - very simple and I personally felt that it was rather plain.
The bottle is a small square shape and again rather plain. I'm guessing that they were going for something more classy when they designed the packaging and bottle but I would rather have something more fun and girly to display on my dressing table.
The scent is actually quite male - very musky and really not for me. I felt like I was wearing my husbands aftershave and actually had to check the box to see if I had made a mistake and it was actally made for men. I hadn't made a mistake so I think that this is the least feminine perfume that I have ever smelt.
Good for those of you that like to be more male but not good for the girly girls out there.
I have a bit of a tradition with one of my girlfriends whom I unfortunately do not see as much as I would like to due to her living miles away from me nowadays.
The tradition is that at Christmas time - well just before it to be exact, we meet up and exchange Christmas gifts, opening them on the spot and have a good old natter over a bottle of wine.
This was what happened the other week and I was quite delighted to receive a gorgeous perfume set from her as my Christmas present this year. The perfume in question is from the Victoria Beckham range and the gift set consists of a little bottle of the scent as well as a tube of body lotion.
I understand that there are several fragrances available in the 'Victoria Beckham' range but the set I received as a gift is the 'Intimate' scent.
* ~ PACKAGING ~ *
A very pretty baby pink coloured cardboard box with a see through window houses the gift set. The bottle of perfume is 30 ml EDT and the Tube of body lotion is 150 ml.
Both of the items are very pretty and the perfume bottle in particular has quite a classy look to it. The sort of square shape of the bottle ensure it is quite an eye-catching product and I think it would look nice on a dressing table or shelf, such is the elegance of the bottle.
The plastic tube of body lotion is a similar baby pink colour to the packaging so all in all the set is very feminine looking and has a girly look to it.
* ~ PRODUCT & OPINION ~ *
As I had never came across this perfume before I was wary before using it - I always am with new scents as the smell of some of them seems to really disagree with me and some can give me a real bad headache.
Because of this, I decided to try out the body lotion first, as I thought the scent would be more subtle than spraying the perfume over myself.
I used the body lotion after I had my bath, and felt that the results were very nice, although to be honest I wasn't blown away completely by the product.
The body lotion did moisturise my skin quite nicely and I felt that the body lotion was of quite a high quality due to there being no greasy residue left on my skin and the fact that the lotion was easily and quickly absorbed into my thirsty skin.
I suffered no ill-effects in terms of my eczema or sensitive skin and I was happy with the product as a moisturiser.
The scent of course though is what makes this product distinguished from other moisturisers and I am happy to report that on this occasion I was not disappointed. I felt that the fragrance was quite subtle and left a nice scent on my skin as I would expect with any similar product. Whilst the fragrance is quite feminine and there is no mistaking this is a product for girls, I did not feel that it was at all over-bearing or TOO girly (thank goodness, because otherwise I wouldn't have liked it as much) and all in all it left a very pleasant scent to my (newly moisturised) skin.
After being relatively impressed with the body lotion and suitably assured that I was not going to suffer at the hands of any side effects, I decided to try out the perfume itself.
I decided to use the scent alongside the body lotion before a night out. After bathing, I applied the body lotion and just before getting dressed I sprayed the perfume onto my wrists and rubbed together.
I was aware immediately that the initial scent of the 'Intimate' perfume was quite strong and this did cause a moment of panic. After ten minutes had passed though, I could tell that the initial scent had subsided a little... much to my relief!
What initially came across as something that was FAR too young for me to wear and FAR too girly and FAR too strong actually gave way to a fragrance that was much more pleasant to smell (and wear).
The slightly musky scent of something floral is the first scent I can detect, although I will point out that I usually hate floral-smelling perfumes, and the scent of the 'Intimate' perfume is much nicer than something dated and smelling vaguely of rose petals!
The initial scent, whilst being floral, has quite a 'crisp' edge to it that reminds me of something like a very feminine-smelling bar of soap. The initial fragrance is clean, crisp and quite musky.
After I had been wearing the perfume for a couple of hours though, I found that the scent seemed to lose some of the flowery fragrance that had been noticeable earlier. The scent reminded me much more of a musky scent at this stage, and in actual fact the whole essence of the fragrance seemed to have somehow taken on a much more mature 'air' about it. Gone was the flowery-tinged fragrance of something teenagers want to spray to excess all over themselves and in its place was the scent of something far more grown-up and sensible. Flowery scents were very much still intact at this time, but the musky background notes to the perfume seemed to be more noticeable and this was quite a welcome change.
I have worn this scent both during the day and for evening wear and I have found that both are completely suited to the fragrance so I do believe that it is quite a versatile fragrance to have.
If I am being honest I am not sure that I would go out of my way to purchase the fragrance again when my gift set has been used up. I think it is just a little too girly for my own personal tastes, although to be fair to it this seems to be the image it is going for... I mean, even the liquid perfume is pink-coloured and this is clearly visible through the very girly (albeit also very pretty) glass bottle.
I have received compliments when I have been wearing the scent so I would think that perhaps my personal opinion is somewhat different from that of the general public but this is usually the case with perfumes and scents anyway.
I will quite happily use up the rest of my perfume and am happy to use the fragrance for occasional use. It is most definitely not one of my favourite scents though, and I will stick to my old favourites for any sort of special occasion.
I am not sure where my friend purchased my gift set and I have struggled to find it online. The bottle of perfume can be purchased from www.cheapsmells.com and is available in three sizes, with prices starting around the £10 mark or so.
I would award the perfume four Dooyoo stars and I thought it was a lovely present. It's just a bit of a shame that I am so fussy about perfumes and fragrances...
I was given this perfume as a birthday present, and I have to admit to feeling quite sceptical about it, as I never buy celebrity perfumes. However, I was really impressed by this!
The fragrance is light and fresh, unlike many celebrity perfumes it is not sweet or cloying. The scent seems to last all day and doesn't become sickly over time, as I have found with some other brands of perfume.
The packaging is attractive and the colour of the perfume is appealing. The size of the bottle is disceptive as the bottle is double walled so it looks as though you are getting more pefume than you actually do!
Overall, I would definitly recommend this perfume, I purchased a bottle myself when my gift ran out, something I would very rarely do with a gift and I found that it was very reasonably priced when compared with other similar products available. I found that you didn't need to use loads of this perfume, it lasted about as long as I would expect from any other comparable product.
This is the day time version of intimately beckham night. After wearing it I also like to think of it as the summer time version. As the name suggests it is lighter than the nightime vesion. This pefume is meant to convey the smell of victoira beckham, known only to those closest to her. Therefore this smell has a lot to live up to!! The highest smell of this fragrance is the smell of a white bouquet of flowers. As you go to the layers underneath this main smell, to get to the longer lasting scents you get vanilla, sandlewood and musk. This perfume has a very elegant lady like air to it, without being to heavy or deep. This perfume is very sensual and the type of perfume that everyone tha gets near you will pick up and comment on, in a nice way. In that way the perfume is not very subtle, but if that what you are after then go for it!
