As you may or may not know, I recently spent a week sunning myself on the French Riviera. I had an amazing time - sun, sea, sand (well, pebbles, but at least I didn't get sandy knickers), cheap alcohol (have equipped myself with some Absinthe - ooh I'm so classy!!), and of course, perfume! When I saw "Baby Doll" at the perfumery for the first time, I was rather sceptical: The hot-pink wrapping and the somewhat kitschy, pink-black-golden flacon – shaped like a spinning-top – let me guess that its scent would be powerful and obtrusive.
