Advantages: Extremely recognisable and long lasting scent

Disadvantages: Bit expensive compared to some out now.

This perfume was first given to me as a gift.I had never seen it before and was dubious,as the person giving it to me was 30 years older than me and said it was her favourite.Lucky for me,the lady in question has good taste.
It smelt divine.It lasts all day,and you can smell it on your clothes the day after but funnily it is at the same time,not overpowering.

The typical bottle is shaped like a diamond with a pink and black bottle top.This is its recognisable characteristic.As soon as you see the bottle ,if it be across the shop,you will know it is YSL Paris.

Paris contains the scents of A seductive fragrance for an elegant, joyful and refined woman

A fresh smell of violet and bergamot, may rose and iris. A woody, deep base of sandalwood, vetiver and vanilla.


Available typically as a 30ml and 50ml bottle,it is also available in a 75ml bottle.Prices starting around £17,and I would imagine you will struggle to find it cheaper.

Paris is also available in gift sets,which are typically provided in beautiful gift boxes of varied colours and designs.Whereas the individual perfume comes in a standard powder pink box sporting a gold YSL logo.

My opinion of this EDT is it may be an EDT but has staying properties of a parfum.
It is a very fresh and clean smell and a lot of people recognise it or exclaim on the lovely smell and ask what you are wearing.
