may influence us into doing something in the now where the past and present meet. Such a perfume is Magnolia. I bought a 15ml flacon of this Eau de Toilette For my Mum as a Christmas present in 1986, I was eleven, almost twelve. I still remember how the bathroom smelled of this perfume when she used it and how eventually it had become her signature perfume. Until it was discontinued. ~ The bottle ~ The simple and elegant design of the fragrance is a milk coloured flattened egg shaped bottle that stands on a short, round bottom and is topped with a globe shaped lid on mines which are a 15ml and 100ml bottle. It s a well known fact to anyone who knows me I am a big fan of Yves Rocher products-just about everything in fact, but especially their perfume. This one;Magnolia,is a classic amongst Yves Rocher customers but like all the best products ends up being discontinued and replaced by something more modern and sexier. Okay it has to be said it s not the trendiest perfume in the world but it s one of those old time classics that just can t be beaten. There isn t anything any different ...

though, this one took pride and place on my dressing table For a number of years and wore it on my first date with my now lovely husband nearly fifteen years ago. Like all the best products though they went and discontinued it and I really don t know why. It has a quite strong essence so only a small amount is needed and has a very oriental smell about it- it s quite a powerful and sexy smell and is best suited as an evening perfume. The bottle is an elegant urn type of shape and is nearly all black with gold lettering near the top with a gold rim on the lid. This is sorely missed in my house and I have yet to find a perfume quite like it...bring it ...
