... about this fragrance is the creators have not gone overboard with the power of the scent, but instead opted for a friendly scent that soothes the nostrils, but also one that lasts for a long time. I put on this fragrance at around 8am, and my wife can still smell it when i return home from work at around 6pm. Yves saint lauren l'homme comes in various size bottles, all of which are great value for money. The bottle sizes are as follows ( i have listed the average price for each too) : 40ml ( £27 ) 60ml ( £36 ) 100m...more

Premium Review Yves Saint Laurent: L'Homme, Eau de Toilette: YSL l' Homme - A True Man's Fragrance (194 words)

OOOHHH! this is qutie a special one! i had bought this as part of a gift set for my dad for his anniversary. When i was choosing the fragrances this one just stood out. To be honest its one of the best i have tried before and i do have quite a large number of fragrances. It is now one of my Dad's favourites too and i use it sometimes aswell. Before he thought he would use it just for the special occasions, but now he can not resist wearing it pretty much every other day or so. Now more about the scent itself. It has actually got quite a manly and strong smell and is definitely going to get the girls smelling you. :D .... and maybe even the guys. Enough of ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review A Gorgeous Sweet but Masculine Scent! 10/10 ! (355 words)

A personal favourite, Yves Saint Laurent L'homme is a gorgeous scent with a price tag that will not leave your pockets empty. I first purchased this fragrance two years ago, and it is still my current choice of fragrance. I often get asked by friends and colleagues what fragrance i am wearing, and i cant say i blame them for asking. The scent is a woody aroma with a hint of ginger that manages to remain very masculine despite being very sweet. There is also a hint of violet noticeable in the scent. The thing i love so much about this fragrance is the creators have not gone overboard with the power of the scent, but instead opted for a friendly scent that ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Yves Saint Laurent: L'Homme, Eau de Toilette: A decent, sophisticated fragrance which won't bankrupt you! (342 words)

*Please note that this is my first ever review of a fragrance and all advice/tips are more than welcome - even if you tell me that it's useless!!* This is a discrete but masculine smelling aftershave which, personally, I feel equally as comfortable wearing during the day or at night. It dries to your skin quickly and does not leave that sticky residue which other aftershaves can be guilty of. I read several online reviews of this before buying my first bottle and a lot of them mentioned the need to persevere with it as the fragrance can initially seem 'wishy-washy' or weak but it does grow (for want of a better word) and the initial ginger-ish ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Classic and classy (181 words)

Quite a classy little number this one. I do think that some of the older more established brands, though quality and covetable, can seem a little dated or even old fashioned. I think it would be quite easy to overlook this scent but that would be a shame. This is a woody fragrance and it is also quite citrussy. It smells 'clean' and doesn't overdo the alcohol edge that dominates many men's scents. It does fade after going on as all scents do, it mellows and becomes quite subtle which is a good thing, it isn't overpowering. Nicely packaged in a small but heavy bottle with its big bolt like chrome top. A 100ml bottle of Eau De Toilette ...  Read the complete review
