“ Retro style refrigerator with internal 4 star ice box / 3 glass shelves / 2 dairy shelves / 2 bottle retainers in door / Energy efficiency class: A / Net fridge capacity (litres): 175 / Net freezer capacity (litres): 20 / Energy consumption (kWh/year). „
My experience of this fridge is fairly similar to the previous reviewer. I too wanted a cream retro fridge but had heard bad things about the Smeg version (and couldn't afford close to £1000!) I spent ages trying to find a shop that stocked the Servis model, but with no luck, eventually went ahead and bought one off the internet sight unseen.
That was 18 months ago and I am still delighted with the choice I made. For £350 I got a fridge that looks lovely, appears well-made and functions almost perfectly.
The temperature is constant, it's spacious and easy to keep clean. It doesn't make any noise (no humming!) and the outer looks much more expensive than the price might suggest.
The only problems I have experienced are the plastic lips on the cover of the door shelves (for milk etc) that come off easily and are tricky to replace. Also, the plastic strip on the shelf above the salad compartments does the same thing.
These are just small niggles and overall I think the fridge is excellent value for money.
