I have a love hate relationship with deep fat fryers in that I love the chips that come out but hate trying to clean the fryers. We had received the Kenwood Fryer as a wedding gift and as fryers go I was quite pleased with it as you could take it all apart to wash it. I went to Argos to try and get another Kenwood fryer as they still sell the same model but there were none in stock. I tried about 5 other fryers but again none were in stock. ... fryer is one of the best ive had, it heats up within 6mins! also it has a function where if bits of food fall down to element it will cut out rather than burning it and your oil! which then means you can reuse your oil more than you could with other fryers, saving you money! also its so easy to clean you just wash the lid and basket as you would normal dishes, either in a sink or in the washer, then you lift the back-eliement out of the fryer, wipe it down, no need to soak then just empty your oil and wash the bottom. its just like a deep roasting tin, an again do it in the sink or in the dishwasher. it only takes about half hour to clean, including filtering the oil...
