Tefal 6236.17 ... were very lucky to be given one of these for nothing by my sister in law. Tefal is a recognised and trusted brand in our household. The Fryer * The fryer outer casing is made of white plastic which makes it very easy to keep clean. On the top of the lid there is a window so that you can see what is happening to the food when in use without having to open the lid. On the front of the fryer is the lid opening button which has to be pushed before you can lift the lid. There is a small lcd display for the timer, which although small is very easy to read. George Foreman Grills ... not all George Foreman Grills are the same, my review is about the "Baby George Foreman Lean Mean Fat Reducing Grilling Machine" I decided we needed a George Foreman Grill, as since moving to London from Australia we started having BBQ withdrawals and this seemed like a suitable alternative until we get a place that will let us have a BBQ. Tefal ActiFry ... clever item. Seems to be well made and is quite fun watching the chips go around! Not used it for other recipes yet but it seems to suggest that you can cook alsorts in it. It comes with a free sachet of special olive oil - to buy this type is very expensive and I think other olive oils would do just as good a job. The chips were nice, only problem is that for anymore than 2 people there aren t very many. 1kg doesn t seem to go very far but they are quite tasty! Takes quite a while too, similar to oven chips but obviously if you re used to a deep fat fryer the wait could come as a bit of a shock!
