Chinablue Tefal ActiFry: ... absolutely love this machine. I binned my deep fat frier a number of years ago as they are greasy, dirty, unhealthy and make the world smell of chip fat. unfortunately oven chips taste like badly done spuds and we dont have a local chippie. I spotted the actifyer whilst looking for a new TV (still havent got one) and went home and googled it immediately. A while later Amazon was showing me a little video of how...

... was getting fed up of the smell of the chip pan in my house and coul even start smelling it on my clothes. So out shopping one ay I came across the Tefal Actifry. One tablespoon of oil to make chips, so it won me over. 1 spoonful of oil is enough for 1kg of chips I bought one from Comet for £120 on offer. But is also selling in Amazon for £130. So once home the deep fat fryer was thrown in the bin and replaced with this. It is a bit bulkier so takes up more room on your worktop but because you don t have oil in it you can easily store it away in a cupboard until you need to use it. With the actifry you also get a cookbook full of recipes that you can cook in your A...

SaveMeTheMoney Tefal ActiFry
... always wanted to get a deep fat fryer, but my wife was concerned about how unhealthy fried chips are. When we saw this we reailsed that is was perfect compromise! We were not disappointed when we tried it out for the first time. It does exactly what it says on the tin - one small teaspoon of oil thrown into the bowl where the uncooked chips are and then turn it on. Rather than cooking the chips by submersion in hot oil, the chips are cooked by hot air that is blown around the bowl. In my opinion this makes the chips not too soggy, but not overly crispy, although I do like them like that. The bowl is not massive, but it suits us fine at the moment. We have also b...

... product is absolutely amazing- real crispy fried chips cooked in just a teaspoon of oil! I had not actually heard of this item until flicking through the weight watchers magazine and immediatley wanted to rush out and buy one (who wouldnt want to be able to eat proper chips on a diet?). I was put off by the price at first, but considering the versatality of the fryer, being able to cook more than just chips, and the fact that you can get the fried taste without the frying appealed to me and my waistline. If you need inspiration of what to cook the fryer also comes with a recipe book which has around 30 recipies in it, including the chips and how long to cook differ...
