We all know that we shouldn't deep fat fry our food, but let's face it - we all do it and we want the best results possible. This fryer is almost there.
With a capacity for 3 litres of oil this is an averagely sized fryer, perfect for the average family and maybe a large one if the portions are small. The design is excellent, it looks modern and clean and shouldn't clash with any kitchens unless they are extremely retro.
To use the product you simply plug it in and turn the dial to get the desired oil temperature, which then heats up at a quick speed of about 10 minutes, maybe 15 with the highest settings applied.
There is no specific on or off button which I consider useful as it means the user will always unplug the device, rather than leaving it plugged in and switched on accidently (even though I'm sure it has safety features built in it is never a good idea to leave oil heating).
The results are always great with this for me, and I think the secret is that it is always clean. This is because it's extremely easy to take all the insides out and give them a good scrub, that way there is never any old oil or food lurking around waiting to lower the quality of your produce.
One small problem is that there is no real lid for this product, I don't like to leave the little plastic cover on whilst cooking and therefore anyone standing too close or looking in run the risk of getting spat at. Never been too much of a problem for me though.
If you need a deep fryer and have a smallish family then this is the perfect product.
Summary: Great fryer for the family
