Delonghi fryer- what a mess! (DeLonghi F17300)

I bought this a few months back during a sale but have hardly used it. It's just a waste of space in my kitchen rather an extra gadget. it needs too much oil especially when you need something fried for just one person- it's sometimes better to fry it in a deep pan. It might be ideal for bigger families. it takes a while to reach the optimal temperature. It does not have a peeping/view window on top/side- this is annoying as you will have to keep opening the lid to check if the food's done. It can be quite messy taking the oil out of it and cleaning it. There are a lot of other fryers in the market which might work better than this but please dont buy this fryer as it is very time consuming to get your food on your plate if you are depending on this.
