MY OPINION:
Now where do I start, now I must first say that I love MEAT, Burgers and anything that you can cook on a BAR-B-Q or Grill.
This is important as this obviously does make my opinion slightly bias to this product.
Now I own one of these Geroge Foreman' s and completely recommend them to anyone. Should you like Burgers, but don't like the fat that comes with them, then buy one of these Grills as you will be absolutely amazed at the amount of fat that drips off onto the tray from the plates (although it is extemely gross to look at). This machine makes burgers so much healthier than if you just cook them under the grill.
Now to a slightly downside of this machine: Now as I have said, I love burgers and I personally do not find burgers quite so tasty when the fat has all been drained off. Now the burgers are still nice, but in my opinion not as nice as when cooked with all the fat in them. You will have to decide about whether you want a healthier and tasty burger, or a lovely juicy fatty burger! All depends on taste.
I have also found this grill to be extremely useful when cooking for a lot of people (you after all have an extra grill available when you need it). This is definetely a plus point as you can grill something in the oven and more on the George Foreman. If you need this, then I would recommend this. NOTE on this, the George Foreman grill is good therefore as an add on to a Oven Grill for multiple people. I would not want to cook only on this for a lot of people, although for a couple it would probably be ok.
I also think (note think as I am not sure) but I think that it has got to be cheaper to run my George Foreman for when I only want to grill something for myself, rather than turning on my large oven grill. I have also found that the food cooks quicker and perfectly in my George Foreman.
I nearly forgot, how does the food cook: Must admit that I have only cooked steaks and burgers in mine, but I found that the food cooks really well. Because you have a cooking plate above and below the food, it cooks both sides at once, which I have found good. I do recommend that you turn the food a little as the grooves (which allow the fat to run off) does cook the food more where it touches it (fairly obvious I know, but thought I would mention it).
As mentioned above the machine is very easy to clean, I usually wait for it to cool for a little and then clean it off with a cloth. You do need to wipe a number of times between the cooking grooves as the food sticks to them, but I have never found this too much of a problem.
Verdict: 4out of 5
Summary: Definetly a good grill.
