This fryer is so simple to use. Put the oil in to minimum or maximum level, I always use the minimum, put the basket in the oil and close the lid, set the temperature by sliding the temperature control across. My brother and I brought this deep fat fryer for my mum in order to make frying Indian pastries less hassle basically, oh and to make chips from time to time. Took ages to find the right one to do the things we wanted it to do. We thought about the the Tefal Actifry but I doubt it would fry anything with a batter on. This Kenwood DF520 seemed perfect so we looked around for a good price and ordered it off Amazon.
