Advantages: Dishwasher safe.
Disadvantages: Heavy when full.
The reason I bought this fryer was because it has a variable thermostat (switches off automatically when it reaches the right temperature) which makes it very safe if you forget about it while its on,
It comes with a large basket which can take up to 1 Kg of food and the oil heats really quickly, any food you can fry you can do it with this and always with good crispy golden results.
It has a large 3.6 litre oil capacity which does make it heavy to lift when full.... if you want to store it out of sight.
It looks good, and is fully dismantable and dishwasher safe.
It's very user friendly and safe, and uses any type of oil and is also easy to empty and clean,
It is also very easy to dimantle and has a long cord with storage to hide the cord and plug out of sight
After I use mine, I let it cool down and then give the outside a quick wipe with a slightly damp cloth and it looks good as new.
I have never had any problems and I have had it 3 years and expect to have it many more.
Happy frying!

- 29/12/05 I hardly ever deep fry, so this would not be much use to me. |

- 27/12/05 I have a similar double version of this and whilst I agree with everything you say about it, I miss the filter I had on my older fryer... the smell of the frying fills the house :-(. Good review. Thanks. Sue |
