I have found that you do need to change the oil fairly regularly in the fryer or else your food will have an oily aftertaste and may not taste the freshest. But I am sure it is that way with any fryer. I know Presto is a great name brand and this fryer is definetely a good one to get. I do not see how anyone could be disappointed with this great fryer....more

I consider myself a fairly healthy eater but once in a while we splurge and have a meal that is fried. I like making my fried foods in the Presto fryer. It is just my boyfriend and me, so we do not need a huge fryer but this one is nice because we often will have chicken strips with french fries or another appitizer that needs to be fried.
