Unlike many other gold trading platforms the bullionvault gold is physically held in a vault of your choice in London, New York or Switzerland which gives me a great peace of mind as well as the fact they are registered in the UK.

You deposit funds quite easily via bank transfer once you have validated your account by providing scanned copies of id. This process only takes a few days and progress can be followed online.

Once they have receipt of your deposit your free to buy gold by checking the market trade prices and setting your own own price. If someone wants to sell at that price your order can be fulifilled. The buying and selling process is very simple.

You can then sell the gold using the same principle and set your own price.

The fees are very reasonable and based on a % of the buy/sell value with a £30 withdrawal fee if you decide to transfer the money to your bank account. I have found the process of trading small amounts very easy and safe.
