Express Review on Hargreaves Lansdown Stockbrokers

Hargreaves Lansdown is a pleasure to deal with - excuse the pun!Their staff are polite and efficient and their attitude is no problem, can-do -which is so refreshing these days.Take yesterday for example, I had lost a couple of contract notes and needed the figures for my tax return. I telephoned their trading number and my query was immediately dealt with by the person answering the 'phone. Again, almost unprecedented in today's "press this for that, that for this, and hold for ever" society. Not only was I supplied with the data that I needed but copies of the contract notes were mailed to me, free of charge, and arrived the very next day.Bravo!

Discounts on purchase and money back every year can't be bad. Hargreaves Lansdown, affectionately known as HL are the leaders in the field of execution only brokers. If you know which Unit Trust(s) you want to invest in, and do not need advice, then there isn't a broker in the country to beat them. Not only do they refund all of their initial commission to you, but they also negotiate occasional further discounts from the fund managers. What's more, they give you a proportion of their annual renewal commission (about half of it). The service is known as Vantage. It doesn't only operate in the area of ISAs and PEPs, but can be used for the ...  Read the complete review
