Although we already have a Dyson and a handheld vacuum cleaner at home, my partner decided he felt the need for a vacuum cleaner specifically for the car that we could keep in the garage as he is meticulous at keeping his car clean. With money being a little tight at the moment, I agreed to get one on the condition that we didn't spend too much money. My partner is one for brand names usually, regardless of the cost so I was pretty impressed that he took my views into account and purchased the Argos Value Car Cleaner. Although this was only from the 'Value' range, when looking at it I believed it to cost around the £20.00 mark so I was impressed to find it ... Read the complete review

I have to admit that before I had kids I very rarely vaccuumed my car. I promise it's not because I'm a lazy scuffy so and so, it's just that it never looked like it needed doing. Now I have a two year old and my car, like my house, is in a constant state of disarray. As well as toys, cars and books, there seems to be a constant appearance of all kind of lovely things - crumbs, dirt and sand to name just a few. We have a Dyson that I love but it's a bit of a faff having to take it outside to hoover the inside of the car and so we decided to buy one specifically for the car. We didn't want to pay too much for one since we had our trusty Dyson for general use and so for ... Read the complete review

My car's a tip. I'm not proud of it, but nor am I ashamed of it. I have tried a number of times to keep it clean and tidy and I just have to resign myself to the fact that I gather mess better than anyone else I know. It's as if I blink and it's there. But of course there are limits - mess is one thing but I have kids, and I have to maintain an environment that is healthy for them, despite the amount of mess they seem to make getting desperately close to mine. Sometimes, it's just too much of a hassle to pick everything up and try to restrict things like crumbs and sand and the like getting everywhere, so the easy answer is to hoover the car. Where ... I bought this value range mini vaccum cleaner as my micra gets very dirty as it is often used to transport my family's dog and he moults everywhere. The vaccum has no where near the power of a real one as its only about less than half a meter long and so the motor is tiny. It is great for the car as it plugs into the cigarette lighter socket and can be used when the engine is turned either fully or partially on. It has a blue cover which collects the dirt and that can be opened on a flap to let the dirt out into the bin. It has several attachements which are good to get into the crevases behind the seats and the ... Read the complete review

I bought this mini car vacuum cleaner as with two very messy kids and a big messy dog i though it was now a necessity rather than plugging in an extension lead and dragging the big Dyson hoover out once a week! I simply plug this into the cigarette lighter socket with the engine on and can do it as simple as that... Obviously for such a small product it is easy to store in the boot but the motor is a lot smaller than my Dyson and the product doesn't have as much suction as I had hoped! But it does the job I needed it for! It picks up all the dog fur and crumbs and dirt from the kids, just takes a bit more work but the convenience of doing it whenever and ...
