Casio FX 83 review (Casio FX 83 MS)

Advantages: A great calcualtor to use, with good battery Disadvantages: Not solar powered The casio is a scientific calculator, which has proven to be very useful to me during my a level studies, and my GCSE studies. I have had my casio calcualtor for around 5 years, and it works just as well as it did the first day! It has all the functions that you would expect from a scientific calcualtor, such as trigonometry, logs, natural logs and so on. Also, its layout is really simplistic, which saves time when doing those sums! Furthermore, the buttons are quite large, so you do not normally press two of the buttons at the same time by mistake. This prevent silly errors losing you marks in exams. Another useful thing about this calcualtor is the way that it is allowed in every maths exam, as some calculators and not allowed, due to some functions they have. The battery life on this calculator is very good, and the batteries can be easily replaced. On set of batteries can easily last you around 2 years in this thing. The only disadvantage of this calculator is that it has no solar panel, other calculators from casio have a solar panel, so the battery never runs out! Summary: An essantial item for anyone doines GCSE/A level maths or physics |
