Advantages: Saves wrists from getting sore, works quickly and effortlessly, a brilliant little gadget

Disadvantages: Can leave sharp edges the odd time

I dont know why but ive always had quite weak wrists and i buy a lot of tinned food for convenience (or maybe because i cant cook very well!)

My tin opener that i used to use was a metal one that i had to turn myself and to be honest was a bit rubbish.

It always used to hurt my wrists and i would end up getting my boyfriend (whos a big strong fella) to come and open tin for me. It took me nearly five minutes to open some tins with my normal tin opener and a few times halfway through opening the tin i would get frustrated and annoyed and try to rip the rest of the tin opened with my hand.

This is not a good idea as i ended up with a few bad cuts so is not recommended to do! I saw the Culinaire One Touch Automatic Can Opener in a homewares and electrical shop in Belfast one day when i was shopping.

At £14.99, i thought it was maybe a little bit expensive and was a bit apprehensive as to whether i should buy it or not as i had no idea if it worked.

I bought it anway and am so glad that i did as its the best money ive ever spent and worth every penny!

As soon as i realised how good it was, i threw out my old 99p tin opener and have used this faithfully with no problems ever since. It has worked for me everytime but be wary that a few times it has left a few sharp edges on the tin.

I use this just for normal sized tins of mainly soups, peas and beans and it works like a charm.

It has taken a lot of stress away from me when im making the dinner and i wish that i had have discovered it years ago.

There is no more sore wrists, i just have to push a button and the tin in my hand is opened within a few seconds. Its brilliant!

I think this would be a brilliant product for any elderly people with arthritis in their wrists or anyone in general who hates normal cheap and crappy metal tin openers. Well recommended and brilliant little gadget!

Summary: Get one

It sounds good. I might invest in this myself.
