This is a product that really isn´t worth buying, it costs 7 pounds and the idea is that when you take the top off a bottle with this opener Brian emits one of 5 utterly hilarious lines.

The trouble is just like those hilarious birthday cards that make a farting noise everytime you open them, the novelty wears off incredibly quickly and you yearn for a good old fashioned mute bottle opener.

The irritancy factor becomes so much that it should be offered to alcoholics as the desire to open a bottle of beer utterly dissipates at the thought of hearing this stupid little plastic figurine utter Áaah I need a Cocktail, or whose leg do I have to hump around here to get a drink.

The item is 5.5 inches and does its job but you do yearn for the batteries to wear out as it does grate after the first use. It is not particularly ergonomically friendly and the 3d figurine is actually a hindrance when you are trying to get the top off the bottle, overall I have to say its not brilliantly made and I don´t use the product anymore, the plastic fascia began to come off soon after a few uses and I took the batteries out to avoid irritation, but in my opinion it is a lovely novelty but not an adequate product when needs must.

It does its job, it looks fairly similar to Brian Griffin, but it is awkward to use with a bulbous plastic handle (Brian´s Body), it is the kind of thing you buy someone when you don´t really know or like them, or as a last resort, it is sold as 3-D which basically means the figure isn´t flat but is rounded, it looks similar but not totally like Brian and overall i´d suggest you stick with your tried and trusted bottle opener, its not sarcastic, it doesn´t look like a cartoon figurine but it does its job without complaint, without irritating and is damned good value for a couple of quid when you consider you´ve probably had it for ten years.

A novelty and one which wears off as soon as you take the plastic packet from it.
