This torch is a very smart move. It takes away all the expensive batteries and all you have to do is wind it up for light. You can mains charge it. It has a high and low intensity beam and one of my favourite features is the fact that you can power a gameboy/walkman or similar 9-volt appliance off it if you have the right leads. All in all this torch is like a swiss army knife versatile and very very usefull. the two beam intensity's i mentioned earlier are basically two diffrent systems in the torch.
