I bought my E-trex via e-bay a few months ago. I'm not a serious walker, but do enjoy the outdoors and like the odd mountain bike trek. I was looking for a unit that would be simple to use, but had enough features to grow with me if my needs increased. With the e-trek vista I found my requirements. Another plus is that it is possible to use it in the car quite well. The dedicated car units are too big and not practical for hand held use, but the vista covers both hand held and in car use pretty well.
