The product I am reviewing is a USB re-chargeable hand warmer. My boyfriend actually purchased this for me when he went to Switzerland with his boss on a work trip. Every morning when going to work I either have to wait for the bus or train and he thought this would be a great present to help to keep my hands warm when waiting at the bus stop or platform. The product has a sleek, stylish design and can be re-used over and over again unlike some other hand warmers that are available to buy. The hand warmer can be recharged through a laptop, computer or other USB compatible devices. The hand warmer is available to buy in a range of different colours including Silver, Blue and Pink. Each hand warmer has a matching sock which the hand warmer fits snuggly in. I received the silver hand warmer which comes with a black and grey knitted style sock to keep the hand warmer in. The hand warmer is suitable for up to 3 hours use and can be fully re-charged in just 2 hours via USB. The product is powered by a Li-ion battery which comes in a protect case. The USB charge cable is provided with the hand warmer. I'm not sure how much my boyfriend paid for this but you can buy them for about £18.00 from various different websites, if you just type the product into Google it will come up with various different websites.

The first thing I needed to do was to charge the hand warmer. The USB cable is very short and is black in colour. This makes it perfect for leaving on the desk whilst charging. The charger simply fits into the top of the charger and a red light will appear to show that it's charging. Once the hand warmer has charged the light will go off. On hand warmer is a lovely matte silver colour and has some writing one side of the hand warmer which tells you where the charger goes in and how to switch the hand warmer on/off. I slipped the hand warmer back into the knitted sock and popped it into my coat pocket ready for when I went to get the train the following morning. It was a very chilly morning and as I walked to the station I pressed the small grey button on the top of the hand warmer which stayed down. A green light appeared to show that the hand warmer was warming up. Within a few seconds I could feel a small amount of heat coming from the hand warmer, but I expected it to get a lot warmer than that. The hand warmer took just over 1 minute to heat up fully which is when the green light on the hand warmer went out. Now the hand warmer was really warm and it felt lovely when I held it in my hand. The sock is a brilliant idea to keep the hand warmer in but you could feel the warmth from the hand warmer much more if you take it out of the sock which is what I tend to do. The hand warmer will stayed really warm all the time whilst waiting for the train which was at least 15 minutes. Once I had got on the train I switched the hand warmer off by pressing the grey button again which popped back up after pressing it. I used the hand warmer again when waiting for the train to go home again and this again warmed my hands up and stopped them form feeling cold. I also find that if I leave the hand warmer in a pocket it gives me a bit of extra warmth as well. I have sometimes even popped the hand warmer inside my gloves to keep them warm whilst my hands are inside them. The hand warmer does stay charged for2-3 hours but after about 2 days of using the hand warmer, I always put it on charge to ensure that it's fully charged and to ensure it doesn't run out when I am using it. The sock that the hand warmer can be stores in is great as it protects the hand warmer from getting scratched and damaged. I have to admit that I haven't always put the hand warmer back inside the sock so my hand warmer does have a fair amount of scratches on it; how-ever it still works fine with no problems. I have had this hand warmer for about a year now and I always ensure its charged ready to use when the colder weather comes.

This was a great item to receive off my boyfriend as it stops my hands from getting really cold when waiting for the train. I'm one of these people who feel the cold really bad so it was great when I found out how warm the hand warmer actually gets. I always have the cable for the hand warmer at work so I can charge it when I get to work every few days. The hand warmer is really simple and so easy to use anyone could work out how to use it. I am actually tempted to purchase another hand warmer so I can have one in each pocket when waiting for the train or the bus. I used to have the hand warmers in which you could use once and then they would have to be put into boiling water ready to use again. This hand warmer is just hassle free and much easier to use than these other hand warmers that you can buy. This would make a great present for someone, and if like me they have to wait for public transport to get to and from work I'm sure they will appreciate this as much as I did. I haven't found any faults with this product during the time I have used it so I think it deserves a full 5 stars.
