Advantages: Durable, tough, flexible.

Disadvantages: Not as attractive as wooden boards.

I love these chopping boards. They're easy to use, lightweight, durable, and you don't need to worry about germs and bacteria seeping in or growing like with wooden chopping boards. That being said, of course these don't look nearly as pretty as a nice wooden chopping board so you can't really use them for serving, but for when I'm just cooking of a day to day basis I don't mind that.

The boards come in sets of two are are super cheap - less than a couple of pounds I think. You get two different colours in each pack, mine are a clear white colour and an opaque red. They are a decent size but only about 3mm thick. This means that they are flexible and you can chop your vegetables or herbs small on the board and then fold the board to tip them into a pot - so they all slip straight down without any spillage. This is quite handy sometimes! The thinness of the surface doesn't pose any threat to your bench-tops though - the boards are quite tough and I don't think you could cut through them with a knife if you tried!

All in all I recommend these for everyday use - they're great.
