As i live near a huge Ikea store i often pop in for a look around. I like Ikea and made many purchases over the years, i like how cheap things are, good quality and funky designs. I love the bargain basement where the kitchen accessories are and picked up the Ikea chopping board around a year ago its still going strong although its badly scuffed and marked through regular usage.
Ikea chopping board costs only £1, these are very basic no thrills chopping boards.

Ikea chopping board comes in a two pack in many different colours to suit your taste. I have a red kitchen and managed to have the pack with one red chopping board and one white. Ikea chopping boards are thin and made of plastic, these measure roughly 12 inches tall and 15 inches wide. The boards are slightly flexible as they are only 2mm thick.
Ikea chopping boards are textures roughly on both sides i guess this is to do with grip on the boards and to stop them sliding around the surface as they would should they have been smooth.

Ikea chopping boards are easy to use and a decent size , big enough for me to chop my vegetables on and after they can be placed in the dishwasher or hand washed in hot soapy water. I actually have both chopping boards sitting out on the surfaces in the kitchen to save mess one in front of the toaster for my husband as he always makes a mess butters the toast on the surface rather than the plate so this board saves the crumbs going everywhere.

As i said i have had the Ikea chopping boards for a year now and they are showing loads of marks on them where the knife has went into the plastic and over time the boards just look worn out could be done with another set now however for £1 i am very happy that they lasted a full year.
I recommend the Ikea chopping boards for being easy to use, a good size, easy to clean and value for money.
