Fun and versatile set to have in the kitchen for parties

Okay so this fondue set is probably one of the more stylish and comes in other colours.

If you're not great in the kitchen or you're thinking of new fun ideas for a dinner party this is an item you want to have. Its fun, easy versatile and cheap.

You can use this set for cheese, chocolate and even meat so it has a lot of uses and isn't just going to be brought out once basically.

As its made out of cast iron it is good to use with meat as the mean doesn't stick and its easy to wash up after using sticky chocolate or cheese. This material also means it retains its heat for longer so you don't waste fuel. Perfect for a chatty dinner party and fighting over who is going to have the last strawberry to dip in the chocolate.

It comes with everything you need:
      The bowl and lid,
      cast iron base,
      dual burner and
      the 6 stainless steel forks.

So the technical bit is how it works - you need to use fuel to heat up whatever you decide to put in the bowl. This nifty set used a small amour of methylated spirit or fondue gel and it has adjustable settings for the flame. So you won't burn your chocolate like I did the first time as I didn't look to see there were different settings. The fuel can be easily bought in supermarkets and kitchen shops and I've never had a problem. Usually I fill it up once when I use it, but if were all chatting away sometimes I need to top it up.

The forks are colour coordinated so everyone gets to pick a colour so as no confusion as to who's is who's fork!

In all I always have fun with this set at dinner parties, its a conversation starter as I find not many people use fondues these days (there is the illusion they are dated). Its easy to clean and maintain so definitely something to have in the kitchen cupboard.

Oh and best of all they are relatively cheap.
