Kitchen Craft Hamburger Maker
Advantages: Easy to use, simple, makes nice shapes, burgers hold together well, cheap.
=== The product ===
This is a small white plastic press which is designed to be easy to store. This is small enough that it fits in any of my kitchen cupboards no problems at all.
=== How to use ===
This is very simple, place a wax disc, put your mince mix on the top, cover with another wax disc and then press the maker down. You will then have a wonderful burger that is made in just a matter of seconds and moulded in to a great shape that holds together well and is ideal for cooking.
=== Where can I buy this & for how much? ===
This can be purchased from numerous stockists and is often available from Amazon.co.uk for around £4.00 and this include 100 wax discs. You can also buy 100 wax disc refill packets for just a few pounds also making these fantastic value for money.
=== Overall opinion ===
Well this press is very simple to use & simple to clean. It is very simple to make a burger using these and you can actually make more than one in one go if you like, however, I like to make one at a time to ensure that they are perfect. After making a burger you will find a little mess left behind in the press and you can simply just wash this with a soapy sponge.
I find that these are the ideal size for cooking. They cook evenly and thoroughly and they are an ideal size for a standard burger bun. You can get a good amount of burgers from one packet of mince and I usually buy an 800g packet of mince, add spices, egg yolk and various other ingredients and then make up a huge batch, some of which I freeze.
The burgers that I now make are fantastic. They stay together well and they are nice enough to present to guests when having friends over for drinks. I can control the quality of the meat that I use and I can also add lots of different herbs and spices to create different flavours.
I really do like this hamburger maker. It is not an essential kitchen item but it allows me to make very nice hamburgers that my whole family enjoy and I can just make a huge batch, in about 10 or 15 minutes, and then place some in the freezer meaning I can stock up my freezer with minimal fuss and effort. My husband is a particular fan of a nice burger and this way I can make my own rolls and make my own burgers so I know exactly what is going to in to the food that we are eating.
Summary: A fantastic hamburger maker that is very simple to use.
