“ Brand: Motorola „
I've had this pager for about 6 months now but my boyfriend used it for about a year before me. It cost about £80 initially and uses the PageOne MiniCall service. PageOne are very efficient, straightforward no nonsense messaging - and also offer handy software as well as the standard method of paging. At the site www.pageone.co.uk you can download software called "directcall" and you can send messages from your pc once you are online. News and sport headlines can be sent to you in several updates throughout the day. The pager itself is compact and light. It has a beltclip and overall is extremely tough and durable. The screen is clear and it's extremely easy to navigate and use all the functions. The pager has a great choice of ring tones and it has a silent vibrate function too. Another excellent plus is really loud alarm bleeper (I use this pager as my alarm clock now.) and the fact that you can store plenty of messages to keep and read later.
My Motorola pager has been functioning perfectly for over 4 years, despite various knocks and bashes. When I got it it was about £100, but now it is about £50. The service-provider (BT) does its stuff efficiently and quickly. The alarm clock is loud enough to wake you. When mobiles are this small, you can monitor the calls, and the batteries last for 8 weeks, I'll get one. Til then, I'll carry 10p for the call-box and this pager.
