My husband already has a few novelty bottle openers, mostly in the shape of sexy ladies, so I decided in the name of fairness to purchase the Paladone happy man bottle opener.

When the happy man bottle opener arrived he was attached to a piece of card with plastic over the top, his little butt cheeks poking out the back and his appendage in a dome on the front. He had a very happy smile on his face. Paladone pride themselves on there environmentally friendly packaging, so I have to note that all the packaging was kept to a minimum and can be recycled.

The bottle opener itself is made out of solid red plastic, he is very shiny and very tactile, just begging to be picked up and used. The happy man leans back at an angle to accommodate his large member and is very stable on his feet. The opening part of the bottle opener is on the under side his phallic extension and is made out of metal.

To use the bottle opener you just grip him tightly, he seems made to fit comfortably in a ladies hand. You then hook the bottle opener over the bottle cap and lever him backwards in one smooth movement, and hey presto your bottle is open.

In theory this is a good bottle opener but in practice it can be quite awkward, and occasionally he slips off the cap and does not open the bottle at all. I also feel that his male member could snap off if used too vigorously!!!

In conclusion I think that the Paladone happy man is a novelty item and should be used as such. He does bring a smile to everybody's face when he is popped out of the draw at parties, but do not rely on him to perform every time.
