Advantages: Excellent reliable alarm clock, two alarms, projection feature, great snooze feature.

Disadvantages: Price.

I got this alarm clock as a birthday present from an Uncle. It seemed pretty high tech for an alarm clock, and having now used it for a number of years I am very glad I was given it!

Firstly, using it as a simple alarm clock it does it's job wonderfully. The alarm is loud and continues to beep until 'Snoozed' or 'Turned Off', for a good minute; enough to wake anyone up (though I have to confess I have at times slept through it, but I am a heavy sleeper - so if on the whole it can get me up, it does it a pretty decent job). Ever thought of having two alarms? Well you can with this product. I've never really seen the need to use the two alarm feature, but I guess if you wanted to wake up at one time in the week and another at weekends, it's possible to do so with the help of this alarm.

The ability to have it light up on screen is good, though what's better is the funky projection feature. Forget having to turn to look at your alarm clock when your laying peacefully in bed, hit the light button and the time is projected on the ceiling - just brilliant! I guess there is the downside of being able to be lazy and not really move out of bed. I actually had to turn off the projection at one point when I never used to really move when the alarm went off. I'd hit the light, see what time it was and go back to sleep for a bit. When it does come in handy is during the night, when you are at your most tired, and a small click of the light button can tell you of the time.

At around £20 it is a little more expensive than most alarm clocks, I mean you can buy some for a fiver! Then again, I have found this very useful over the time I've had it, and should it break, I will be looking for a similar one from the same company. A quick thing about batteries; I've had this alarm clock for about two and a half years, and during that time I've only had to change the batteries once, so don't worry about the alarm not going off because the batteries are flat - it warns you (where the day/month would be) that you need to change the batteries - very helpful!

Summary: A great alarm clock for anyone who wants to be sure it will do it's job, and wants a bit of fun!

Good review! Id still be comatose when my alarm goes off, and having to find the button to switch it off can sometimes be annoying. Having to use another button to project it onto a wall would just be something I'd forget to do .

It sounds quite funky - although I can't do loud alarms - I like to awaken gently.
