When I was at school I used to use Stabilo Boss Highlighter pens for essays, homework etc. Now I work in an office and I still continue to use them to this day for highlighting figures.

They are of good quality, very useful and do the job perfectly. The shape of the highlighter allows a good grip of the pen. It is wide at the bottom and tapers more thinly to the top, therefore making it much easier to use. The wedge nib of the highlighter is slanted so it makes an easy transfer to the paper. The ink doesn't overflow out of the pen like some highlighters do so it looks very neat and doesn't smudge. Stabilo also boasts that the ink will not dry out even if you leave the pens uncapped for a couple of days. However I haven't tried this just in case!

Stabilo Boss highlighters are readily available in stationers and you can purchase them in a wide variety of colours. At work we tend to buy the highlighters in packs as you get the choice of different coloured inks, then you can pick whichever you need. I tend to stick to yellow as it really stands out on paper, otherwise I would use pink. The colour inks that are available tend to be Green, Orange, Yellow, Pink, Purple etc.

From Staples you can buy a pack of 8 assorted colours for around £5.99, they come packed in a clear plastic wallet.

For school, college or work these highlighters are perfect and do exactly what it says on the tin.
