"The universal fineliner for school children to professionals" As a constant doodler I go through pens very quickly (very apparent by the numerous discarded empty ones in the bin under my desk). At present, my favourite writing implement is the 'Stabilo 'point 88' fineliner' - designed for writing, drawing and sketching. Due to its precision tip (0.4mm) it is ideal for working with rulers and stencils. In terms of its performance, the Stabilo Point 88 (marketed as 'Europe's number one fineliner') doesn't provide the smoothest writing experience, giving a rough feel when you use it. I actually like the generally graininess of the tip, which ... Read the complete review

These pens are fantastic. They come in a range of colours - everything from standard practical black, blue and red, to fun and funky purple, green, sky blue and orange. The colour range is great, and using the more unusual colours is very useful for students using them to identify specific sections in revision notes etc, however be warned that some of the lighter colours (orange etc) can be a little difficult to reading as plain text. These are better used for underlining or for more fun / crafty sort of activities. The pens are light, thinner than your average fineliner when held in the hand, and are hexagonally shaped rather than round, making them very easy ... Read the complete review

Stabilo Boss is a very popular brand that makes pens of all descriptors for millions of people around the world. I absolutely love my fineliners and use them in my artwork and for doodling. The pens are easy to hold and don't cramp my hand. The nibs are very thin at just 0.04mm - perfect for making fine lines or adding detail to your work. And the colour selection is immense as they come in different size packs containing a whole range of assorted colours. They are also long lasting and the special indian ink always runs smoothly leaving no messy blobs on your page. They are popular with students too as they are great for work and ... I first found these pens whilst working weekends at an art shop, these being very popular amongst the local art college students. At 0.4mm, the fineliner nib allows for accurate detail in drawing, but also show up vividly due to the wide range of vibrant colours - however, the lighter colours are not designed for making notes, and will prove hard to read. I personally use these for college and university notes and revision - I find it easier to recall information if it's appealing to the eye, and these pens help do that! I wouldn't suggest using these for day-to-day lectures, as fineliners do tend to run down far quicker than biros when writing a good deal, ... Read the complete review

these stabillo pens are great! They come in a set which includes lots of bright, interesting colours. I love using these pens because they write smothly and the ink does not bleed through to the other side of the paper. They are fine line at just 0.4 mm yet still write with a decent sized line. They are easy to write with, wether you join up your handwriting or not. I always use thes for when I am studying for exams or just. Revising work from last term. The information is much easier to follow when each topic or paragraph is in a different colour. These fantastic pens can be bought in most supermarkets or sationary shops. These usualy retail at about £4-£5. They can be ... Read the complete review
