Well priced clock that stands out and fits into most environments and colour schemes.

I will start out by being honest and saying i know little about Suck UK, but I can say that before i bought this clock I had heard of the company before (not sure how/where from). My impression of the company is quite positive after the purchase of their Solar Clock and the looks sold it to me. The Solar Clock is shaped like a small black slab and measures 7.3cm x 16.9cm x 3cm and the front of it has a large solar panel on it which allows it to run without a battery. The clock without the hands on looks similar to an oversized Ipod.

The clock comes with 2 sets of handles. The small set are very short and they resemble that of a tiny bedside alarm clock anbd they dont overlap the edges of the clockface. Some people may prefer this set, but there is also a larger set of hands that are much larger than the clock itself and I think it looks a lot more trendy using this set of hands. The minute and hour hands are white and the second hand is red.

The reasoning behind using the large hands was to create a unique personalised feature in my kitchen. My kitchen walls are white, I have the Solar Clock on the wall opposite the window (therefore lots of light) and around the clock directly onto the wall I have stencilled numbers 12,3,6 and 9. As I have white walls i have also personalised the hands by painting them a burnt orange colour and am very happy with my handywork!

For under £20 I would suggest this is a great clock if you are looking for something a bit different. As i proved it is fully customisable and beats a lot of the tat that falls within this price bracket.
