When my fiancé mark and I bought our first home together a crinkle cutter was not on my list of essentials. I eventually got one because Mark thinks crinkle chips taste nicer than straight,, how I don't know. Same potatoes, same oil just different shape. Personally I don't get it but I bought one to try anyway. I got my Pampered Chef Crinkle Cutter from The Pampered Chef website. At £11.00 I thought it was expensive and to be honest as I don't make chips that often I really thought it would be a waste of money but I have been pleasantly surprised . I have had so much more use from this than I ever thought. You are advised to wash the cutter before ... Read the complete review

The Pampered Chef sell a range of high quality kitchen gadgets both online and through their home parties. The crinkle cutter costs £11 if you buy it directly from their website, I bought mine new in its packet for a mere £1 from a charity shop. The crinkle cutter is a simple little gadget. It is a serated blade designed to cut vegetables and herbs into crinkle shapes attached to a black plastic handle. It has only one use and that is to cut your veg into pretty shapes so they look fancier on the plate. It is a really well made gadget, the blade is made from high quality stainless steel and it is firmly attached to the handle with screws. There is a ... Read the complete review

This Crinkle Cutter however I purchased off Ebay for the bargain price of £3.95 including postage - I bought it specifically for carrots but since then have been know to add 'crinkles' to a wide variety of foodstuffs. Why did I want to crinkle my carrots? Well, simply because I have a four year old who adores the phallic orange vegetables, but a visit to our local Toby Carvery had her hankering after crinkly ones as apparently they taste so much nicer! Never wanting to disappoint my ... Read the complete review

The Pampered Chef Crinkle cutter offers you a fun and interesting way to serve your fruit, vegetables and even potatoes. At £11.50 from their catalogue it was not cheap but as my friend was hosting the party and wanted people to buy things from her I decided to go for one of the cheaper things I could find in the catalogue. Actually, I quite fancied this as I wanted to make some nice vegetables for a recent dinner party I was having so home it came with me. The crinkle cutter is small and has a handle that fits in the palm of your hand. Its got grips on the underneath of it which makes it fit in your hand perfectly so you get a good grip and one that is not ... Read the complete review
