Regular readers of my reviews will know that I am a something of a gadet freak and I really do enjoy collecting and trying out new ones. One of our favourite brands is the Pampered Chef range which are ever so good but ever so expensive at the same time. However, the have always been of very good quality and have always lasted us a long time and therefore what we consider to be excellent value for money. One of the latest gadgets we bought recently was the Pampered Chef Food Chopper. We paid £22.99 for this gadget (I think there was a discount off of a couple of pounds so we got it slightly cheaper). It is small, compact and fairly lightweight and made from ... Read the complete review

I love this product. It is however a little bit of a pain to clean if you have been chopping something messy like tomatoes or onion but on the whole if you rinse it immediately after use most of the gunk can be washed off, then a short was in warm soapy water and it's clean again. The chopper is essentially a device that houses a zig zag of very sharp blades inside the main body. When you push the plunger on the top of the device down, it pushes the baldes through and it chops the vegetable underneath them. When I went to my first Pampered Chef party, I was more than a little sceptical about the wonder chopper (complete with hand gesture!) that my friend raved about. However, the demonstrator really sold this to me! A compact piece of kit, it is a pump actioned, multi bladed chopper that allows you to chop finely any vegetable, herb, cooked meat, cheese, pretty much anything! It comes in 3 pieces - the main body with a zigzagged blade which is exceedingly sharp. This has an unfoldable cuff that protects fingers from the blades. As well as this there is a see through strong plastic collar that allows you to see how it is cutting, and protects you ... Read the complete review

I was so excited to receive my Pampered Chef Food Chopper after having ordered it from the recent party I had been to. The price is steep in my opinion but I put it to the back of my mind thinking about the time it would save me. My husband is not a vegetable fan and I find myself spending endless hours chopping veg to within an inch of their lives so he wont find them in the cooking! Anyway, I thought this food chopper was the answer to my prayers...how wrong I was. The PC Consultant had demonstrated this gadget making a big issue of the fact you can let out your daily stresses on it and slam down the chopper as hard as you like and it wont damage it. Admittedly, the ... Read the complete review
