Advantages: coin storage, good quality

Disadvantages: weight of carrying 5 coins may be noticeable

I was tempted to make a spin on the £1 fish song for this title lol.
Now yesterday I reviewed my cash stash and I thought it would be useful to review the coin stash too which I got afterwards and now much prefer.

This coin stash is made of aluminium and allows storage of 5 £1 coins at ease.
I keep it attached to my keys. It comes with a little split key ring that can be put with your keys and it has a screw top lid with a spring on it, the other half of the compartment allows the pound coins to be stored inside.

The spring is a handy feature as it means the coins are not rolling about if you have less than £5 inside and it keeps them all securely in place.

I remember I also have a pentagon shaped coin holder that allowed 5 coins to be stored lying around somewhere too that I was given but I hardly ever used it as it was easier to just carry them in my purse, but this coin stash is so small and compact that it really isn't any extra effort to have it on your keys or in the way of anything else.

Now I have the cash stash too but since getting this I just found it a lot easier but that was mainly because I can pull pound coins out a lot quicker for things like the £1 trolleys or paying for the bus fare than trying to get change.

Although I had the cash stash (which is basically the same product but for storing your notes instead of coins) I looked into this coin stash because I had a £5 off voucher for either the site firebox.com or it was iwantoneofthose.com (I really can't remember, but both sites are good) where I only had to pay £1 or £2 for purchasing it. I thought this was good and didn't mind trying it out.

I thought maybe when I got this the novelty would wear off after a bit and I would stop using it, but I do find it useful when on the move and at times quicker then having to go through my purse.. and so I continue to use the coin stash quite often.

The coinstash has been held quite securely on my keys and has never come loose or fallen off so it is of good quality. I did also think it would be a pain if the lid of the product could come off easily but as it is a screw top lid it would not accidently fall off.

You would be able to find one of these online for around £4-£6. I kinda find it ironic that you may be spending £5 in order to store £5 lol but I do find it a useful item and it can save me time sometime to pay using this.

I give the product 5 stars and would recommend it if you feel it would come in useful.
The only thing I would consider is if you do not carry much in your pockets etc usually then you may find the holder to take more weight due to the carrying of coins.

Thanks for reading :)
