It goes up when the shower is being used...i end up shouting upstairs when i think poor Wattson is about to expire with the numbers being shown on his little face! Oh Wattson...he is a part of my family now! "what is Wattson doing now?" is asked many times in this house. I bought Wattson last year to teach my kids about energy use and to try and reduce our outgoings. He is easy to set up. There is a peg like probe that fits onto the outside of a majof wire that comes out of the fuse box. It is totally safe and needs no electrical knowledge. A Transmitter is placed near to this. (we put it in the meter cupboard). This is powered by batteries. The main unit it wattson himself. He is powered by a rechargeable batteries and by plug. He doesnt use up much juice.
