I understand that this is the PS2/PS3 version but from what I have seen the only difference is the control buttons. The drums themselves are collapsable and can be reduced to 2 different parts. The cymbals are also detachable for transportation and these along with the drum stand are height adjustable. The actual drum pads themselves are surprisingly life like as you encounter a similar level of rebound as when you hit a real drum skin. After a few months my snare drum (red pad) began to become less responsive but since I got the kit changed and I started to be more gentle with it, my snare is still in working condition 18 months on. The cymbals are also very responsive and lifelike. The kick pedal is made of plastic so it's not too life like but it still does a good job. Overall I think it's a great piece of kit that offers hours of fun as there's nothing more primal than wallopping stuff with sticks (which are included).
