Advantages: Realistic Vibration, easy access buttons

Disadvantages: Pedals seem plasticey

When playing Driving Games on your Pc, the main thing you're after is realism, and this steering wheel and pedal set give you that! The main feature of this steering wheel is the force-feedback which lets you feel every bump in the road and every car that you crash into. If while driving you hit the side curb, then you immediately know about it, with a sudden shock of vibration through the wheel.
The two red sections on the wheel are rubber handgrips, which prevent your hands sliding around on the plastic while driving. In from these comfortable handgrips are 4 small red buttons (2 on each side). These buttons can, on most games, be assigned to different controls e.g change view, horn, lights etc. and are positioned perfectly so that when you wrap your hands around the wheel, the buttons are at easy access by your thumb.
When you do wrap your hands around the wheel for the first time, you will realise that your fingers will sit naturally and comfortably on the other two buttons around the back of the wheel. These two buttons are bigger than the front 4 and are most commonly used for gear shiffting up/down, although they can be alterred on some games to other functions, such as left/right indicators.
The steering wheel unit can be attached to a desk or table, using the 2 clamp screws found at the back of the wheel. Just slot the clamps, over a flat solid surface (like the edge of a table) and tighten the screws up. Although this seems like a great feature, the screws do need to be very tightly screwed or the steering wheel will start to wobble around and eventually fall off.

The pedals are very simple to use. One pedal is accelarate and the other one is brake. The whole pedal unit is alot less solid than the steering unit and seems quite plasticey. You will also need to place the pedals with something solid behind them e.g wall or the pedals will just slide away from you, when you push them.

The steering unit is plugged into a spare USB, then the pedals and power supply get plugged into the steering wheel. You will notice that when you plug the power supply in, the wheel will centre and become more stiffer. When playing games the wheel will always center after turning a corner. This just makes the wheel more realistic.

Summary: Great steering wheel and pedal set, very reaistic, easy to use, but pedals are very plasticey
