Logitech Wireless Gamepad F710
Advantages: no wires
Disadvantages: non so far
I love playing games on my console and online and have been given the term name Gamer from a few of my family members, event though im not a teenager anymore I love to play the battle games and fantasy games available on disc and online and to get the most from my gaming experience I have found a great controller which is easy to instal and helps make you feel you have jumped into the game.
This is the Logitech Wireless Gamepad F710
This has the classic standard buttons and hand held set up of all the other controllers which you get with a playstation or other consoles and has the two turning toggles at the front for manovers as well as the start, back, vibration and home buttons in the middle of the pad and it also has the familiar A, B, X, Y buttons at the right hand side for forward, back, jump, run and other manovers.
These are coloured and in the shape of a cross for easy acess with the right hand when playing the games.
There are also the LB, RB buttons at the top of the hand held part of the controller incase you prefer to use these instead of the coloured buttons.
All in all the design is a familiar one which have been copied by most makes of controllers to help the gamer be able to play the games easier without having to learn new buttons and manovers, you can just pick it up and you know which button does what almost straight away.
This controller will cost you £49.99 and you can get it online and from game shops in towns such as Game or P.C World and the price will vary depending on where you buy it from but not too much from the price I have quoted.
I think this is a very reasonable price to pay as this controller is a wireless controller and gives you more freedom of movement when your playing the games, as you don't have to be sat down in front of the computer screen to play so can really get involved in the game when playing.
The controller has a good grip on it and has rubber sides so that it is comfortable and won't slip when your jumping around or moving around in a car chase or in battle swinging a sword around at your enemy and you can put the vibration button on to really get the feel of the game.
When you hit with a sword the vibration goes from the controller and travels up your hands, to give the feel of actually being in the game mode. You can also feel the car movement with the vibration on when crashing into someone in games like grand theft auto. You can have the vibration on and off depending on your choice and on which game you are playing.
The controller takes two AA batteries which last ages when playing games and has a little Plug-and-Forget Nano-receiver which fits nicely into the USB port on your computer this is easy to install and there's no messing around as it's plug and play, just follow the on screen instructions and insert the disc when it tells you then the computer finds the software quickly and easily for you to be able to play the games within about five minutes of loading it up.
It is a 2.4 GHz wireless controller for fast data transmission and virtually no delays, dropouts or interference. I love the ease of instalation and the fredom of play once it's installed.
All in al I'm very happy with my purchase it's made my gaming experience better than before when I had a wired controller as I now have less wires coming from my computer, no one can trip over them when I'm playing the games and I can move around with ease when playing the games.
10 out of 10 from me.
Summary: good quality
