I got this in January from Game and paid £130.00, i read reviews about it before i bought one myself, the word "awesome" comes to mind as this is a really advanced peice of technology.

In the box came a Kinect Adventures game along with a power adaptor which you will need to use if you have the older style xbox 360 as the the new slim version uses its own power to power up the Kinect, also included is a USB cable for connecting the Kinect up to the back of your Xbox.

Installation is quite easy, your Xbox will detect the Kinect and auto update your system, then once thats done, your Xbox will go through step by step instructions with images on how to use the different features.

The build of the Kinect i quite solid, it has a glossy black finish and has a motorised stand, (make sure you don't try and manualy adjust this stand as you could break the operation of the motor) it also includes 2 cameras, 1 infared light and 1 microphone all builtin of course.

When first using this high tech devise, you find that it can be a bit tricky, when you are in the menu of your Xbox you have to first register the Kinect to recognise you, so everytime you play a game it nows who you are and what profile to save your saved data in. You can also give voice commands in your Xbox menu like, open tray, close tray, play game etc etc.

Onto the gaming. I have tried a few games, some work perfect but some just don't, it will take you a few games to get the hang of it, some people differ, but it is definately a good experience and will keep you very fit. Only 2 people at one time can play, depending on the game and upto 4 people can play in turn, depending on the game also.

Not only is it good for gaming but you can also use it for video chatting with your friends, i haven't used this function so can't comment on this.

Now you probably wonder how this devise works, well if you have a camcorder with night vision, the next time you play a game at night, turn all your lights off even your TV for the best result and put you night vision mode on your camcorder and you will see that your room is filled with tiny infared dots and this is how the Kinect tracks your movement.

So if your looking for a new gaming adventure then look no futher as you will be amazed and will have lots of fun and the benefit of keeping yourself fit too.
